Visited during a local rainstorm and flood, they were gracious enough to upgrade us to a FHU spot. We explored the area a little, unfortunately everything was muddy or flooded. Will have to come back to fully Enjoy the area.

Not too far from the city but worth the drive for a great camping experience. Decently level sites, no hook ups but dump station and trash dumpster available.

Great state park well off the interstate but worth exploring. Just beware the bugs, they swarm. Even in May with a snow storm, they were surprising out in full force.

Drive up 5/7/22 to a gorgeous canyon (well worth the drive) but gates were closed. Van and a tent camper managed to get in, but campground itself was still closed. Will have to try again because it looks like a pristine spot.

Nicely spread out sites with full hooks ups, clean gravel, lots of space to stretch out in your site. A few cabins and longer term stays but feels very safe and family friendly. Definitely plan to come back and use as a base camp to explore more... Read more

Second time we have stayed here and still more to discover. Didn’t even know the McKenzie River was a short walk down the trail. Pretty nice sites, full hook up with shade or full sun depending on your preference. Charming hosts. Nice facilities.... Read more
