* The road is rough and tight- my 25TT was a squeeze to get in, it is possible but I wouldn't recommend anything much larger. Great for tent, van, truck-camper, or smaller rigs. * Most of the sites are very unlevel. * SCOUT AHEAD! - This place is either completely full or vacant! * Cell service barely exists- I was lucky to have ... more

* SCOUT AHEAD! - This place is either completely full or vacant!
* Cell service barely exists- I was lucky to have one bar of Verizon come and go to make calls.
* The mice are relentless!! A constant battle my entire stay, and I have a cat with me! lol
* Rangers frequent here- I saw 3 during my week stay.
* Highway noise is noticeable but not terrible, you can drown it out with the sound of the river flowing behind.
* Trash/ Dumpster in BV at the "River Park", take E Main past the shops/ cafes, all the way to the dirt road- I noticed several other nomads dropping trash here, and no "no dumping" sign- seemed legit!

The noise is ridiculous from HWY 24.
So if you want quiet not the place. Campers dont know how to show respct for other campers. They try to squeeze in wherever they can. The roads are okay. Some rough spots
I had 1 bar Verizon 4g. Seemed to work better at night.
Stayed 14 days in a Palomino truck camper Badlands edition.

There were 3 sites suitable for larger RVs. One contained a 35 foot fifth wheel and a Lance travel trailer. There is limited turn around though so scouting is needed.
The entry road was well maintained however it quickly deteriorated. There were multiple cars in the back area of the campground so high clearance was not needed but careful driving is required.
The campground sits between the Arkansas River and highway 24 so road noise can be heard.
Each site had a fire ring and about 5 had wonderful river views. We had one bar of Verizon 4G but it was almost unusable.

Beautiful spot near the river, lots of trees and off the road. Good Signal with Verizon and T-Mobile. Really good for tent camping won’t get more than a pop up in these spots. Very bumpy with large rocks to get in make sure you have high clearance!
