The Cache Creek BLM area can be accessed off highway 24 though a one lane road. This road will be a difficult turn if approaching from the north for trailers. While the road is one lane, it is only narrow for about 100 feet up the hill. Vehicles headed down the hill can see the uphill traffic and should give way.

Once past this hill the road continues to be smooth and opens to two lanes. No special clearance is needed for the main road. The second left side spur is more rough and requires clearance.

The sites are in full sun but very well spaced and level. The first left side spur has a large turn around space that will fit a large RV. At the end of the main road is another area that would accommodate a large RV.

The second left side spur has smaller sites and travels back up the mountain. At the end there is a large turn around site, but the road does deteriorate the further back on the side spur you go.

The area received 4 bars of Verizon 4G with 12 megabit download and 15 megabit upload.
