Granite Rock Camping area is located in a bend in the Arkansas River and Highway 24. This area is good for a quick overnight for a smaller rig.
The area has recently undergone improvements. The road is graded and graveled, fire rings are present and parking areas clearly defined. High clearance is not needed.. Large rocks used to line the road and tree spacing make this an area.for smaller rigs only.
The area does receive Highway noise, but it tends to lessen at night. We had 2 bars of Verizon 4G here.
