As stated crammed up W/E sites whoever thought that up had never camped. We went to FCFS site and had lots of room with H2O within 40’ of the site.

As stated there are 22 sites FCFS with Electricity at sites 17,19,& 21. Sites 5 through 12 you can get WiFy.

There are 30 sites with W/E all are reservable but there are more than 20 BD sites available. The thing wrong with this park are the amount of bugs, so many you can’t sit outside without a insect covering over your head.

This review is for the ones that don’t like to make reservations there’s 6 FCFS w/e and 6 BD sites.

The other reviews are all very good but the one thing they don’t tell you are about are the sites. In Loop A there are 6 sites FCFS with W/E and in Loop B there are 7 FCFS that are BD.

The FCFS sites are 40 through 51 and they have W/E at each not like the State Park north of here which has none. The dump is closed but both towns north and south have free dumps just off route 285.

Price went up May 1 2023 along with all sites to be reserved. $25 for Full hookup but stayed at $15 for w/e. When you call they will give you a site # it will be at the top of the confirmation you receive

They had just opened up on July 24 and it was free because of all the trees down in the park we were asked to burn all the wood we could to help clean up the park. Water and dump available at the Forest Park near Iron River.

There is two campgrounds here one is for horses with 26 sites and rv with 45 sites which has two water threaded faucets. Toilets were clean.
