As stated crammed up W/E sites whoever thought that up had never camped. We went to FCFS site and had lots of room with H2O within 40’ of the site.

To make matters worse, left and right have to be reserved so people who come in without reservations set up in middle (literally 17” from our slide to theirs) while the reservable left site was empty.
No hosts, no toilet paper, no garbage pickup.

This is my 3rd time staying here. If you must have hookups, I agree with the review by the last one. The electric sites are cramped with 3 Campers in a small "lot". Fine if you're camping with friends or the other 2 stay empty. But, I loved my site and most of the other non hookup sites are great. Level enough for my 19' Airstream and long enough so I didn't have to unhook for the 1 night. Same experience with most of the sites in this loop. There were 2 much larger than me, 5th wheels, too. Plenty of sites available on a Sat. might in August. But, K-12 schools were back that week in NM so July may be busier. Didn't use toilets but, host was pleasant. Nice tables & campfire pits with grates. The paved road in ends to become dirt. But, well maintained. Very quiet unless you get near someone who must run generator. Time is limited on that, though. BTW my Verizon was good for text & talk. Slow to send pics.

The lake is beautiful and we had great neighbors, but I would not come here again. Whoever designed the campground had no business doing so. The sites are three RVs crammed into a spot made for two with everyone on top of each other. You also have to walk through each other's picnic spots to get to your picnic table (this could easily be solved if they get someone who knows what they are doing like a designer/planner to rearrange the tables logically). Only a few end spots were decent. If the person on the end spot took up more than their fair share of the spot, you had no outdoor seating in front of your rig. You also have no view in the middle. Although a nice family was next to us, they were a large family of 9 so it was always loud and busy. I also could not get a fishing license since there was no cell or internet service so I could not fish the lake which was my goal. I loved the lake but will find another due to the cramped inefficient layout of the campground. They seriously need to improve the reservation experience too. Sites were open, but you had to book them 24 hours in advance or you could not book them. So they sat empty.

Nice campground, lake is very low. 30 Amp only. We have a 45 ft fifth wheel and got around fine. Some sites are not very level, all gravel surfaced. The Rv sites are 3 sites side by side. We were here May 1 and nobody here yet.
