Came here after abandoning Twin Buttes Reservoir due to heavy mosquitoes there. Clean area with a few overnight semis and RVs. Loud cars and trucks racing around until about 11:00 p.m. when everything got quiet. Felt like a safe place. Walmart... Read more

Pulled in on a Sunday night. Two semis and 5 RVs with space for more. Casino had slots, bathrooms, and a Denny's. Quiet town. Felt safe for the night.

Plenty of space off a gravel road for everything from fifth-wheel to teardrops. A light wind most of the stay kept the mosquitoes and flies away. A thunderstorm blew through with 30 minutes of high winds and 1-in hail. The views from this location... Read more

Came here because the National Forest campgrounds were all full. Enjoyed camping here and won't even check the other campgrounds next time. Easy drive if you have AWD/4WD. A little under 8,000 ft in elevations, so it's very comfortable in July.... Read more

Pulled in on the 3rd of July without a reservation and there were several sites available. No check in after 6:00 p.m. Flush toilets, large hot showers, laundry, and full hookups. Close to dining, grocery, and Ace hardware.

Dry camping with flush toilets. Showers closed. No cell phone service. Spacious campsites with fire ring and picnic table. Sound of the nearby flowing river. Friendly camp host.

Got the last site on a Tuesday night. Nice large site with picnic table and fire pit surrounded by lots of tall trees. Standard vault toilet. Short walk to Clear Lake. Would come back here again.
