This is a quiet beautiful area. Easy to get to in our Ekko and saw several large towables parked and being towed. Lots of places as you go down the roads. Some mosquitoes.

Great to be secluded and away from groups of people but close enough to Cedar Breaks, Navajo lake, Brian head, and Cedar City. The skies were clear at night and the stars were incredible!
I did not have any cell service, however (Verizon), but that is not necessarily a bad thing.

I thought this place was going to be a few sites for a night or two but realized it was a lot more after staying a week. This place is a real charm with great views between the plentiful firs. If you rely on solar power, most sites have at least a partial view of the sky. Most of the road is on good condition but monsoon storms (July-Sep) can create havoc, leaving ruts, exposed rocks, and numerous puddles for days before drying out. Best advice is to scout the road to choose a site before driving the rig in. For big campers, there's another entry off Hwy 14 up the 251 with many more spots, where I saw the biggest camper I've ever seen parked in one. The numerous spurs offer more private sites. Road noise can be an issue on weekends. The worst part about this place is it's closed from Nov to May, a real bummer.

Arrived Friday 7/9. Great escape from the heat! Cool temperature due to high elevation (13% grade was slow going with RV in tow), lots of open spaces for camping, and heavy mosquitoes. Beautiful sunrise. We will definitely return in the future.

Wide open areas among tall spruce and quacking aspen trees and very quiet. There are mosquitoes there, so take a Thermacell or 2. There were several unoccupied campers in the meadows as well as Class A's and camper vans. Did not see any animals on site nor scat nearby, but spoke with another camper with a canvas top who left in concern about bears..none seen! It is at about 10, 400 feet elevation, so the lighter air did not encourage long hikes. We picked up about a handful of liter which was quite small compared to other BLM sites we have been.

Would have been even better if over the weekend some people parked some where else. This is dispersed camping, try dispersing a little.
Love the duck family on the pond. Temperature is pretty nice. Noticed this square on the map near here. Just a gap in the wild roses?

We were at Zion all day, 111 degrees when we left. Drove 1.5 hours to this spot and it was 72 degrees.
Easy access. Highway up to the camp entrance and then an easy gravel road to the camp sites.
Lots of room. Very pretty.
