Well maintained campsites. Cattle and deer wander through. Cleanest vault bathrooms. Amazing views. Had the place to ourselves on a Sunday night. Concrete grills and picnic tables. Would stay here again!

"Peaceful campground in the tree."

Nice campground with big trees and a creek running through. Small but level spots for the RV with steel fire rings and concrete picnic tables. Pit toilets on site. Clean with friendly hosts. Plan to return again in the future.

"Great escape from the heat."

Arrived Friday 7/9. Great escape from the heat! Cool temperature due to high elevation (13% grade was slow going with RV in tow), lots of open spaces for camping, and heavy mosquitoes. Beautiful sunrise. We will definitely return in the future.

Arrived Thursday 7/8. Free. Great spot to spend the night. Only one other camper at the reservoir. Clean pit bathrooms. Windy night so I didn't experience the mosquitos others reported.

"Beautiful campground."

Arrived Wednesday 7/7. Beautiful campground! Lots of space between sites! Less than half full. Clean bathrooms with showers. Bugs and mosquitoes came out when the rain stopped.

Arrived Thursday 7/1. Several open sites on Thursday evening. Clean restrooms, flush toilets, and free showers. Dump Station available. Short walk to the reservoir.

Arrived Wednesday 6/30. Beautiful park. Herd of Bison walked through the campground just after sunset. Steer walked through the campsite in the morning. New bathrooms with running water and flush toilets but no showers. Potable water available.... Read more

"Great location with spectacular views of the Badlands"

Arrived Monday 6/28. The view is spectacular. Also stayed here 4 years ago and will return again. Lots of empty campsites. Showers, pool, store, breakfast, and laundry available.
