Mid-March, nearby Kratchner State Park was full. Friendly QR staff were accommodating for our 4 day stay. Patrons mostly longer term retirees. Resort is clean, quiet, well run. Clean restrooms. Clubhouse, laundry, dog run, adequate cell coverage and Wi-Fi made location ideal base camp to recharge, explore nearby attractions, and p... more
Mid-March, nearby Kratchner State Park was full. Friendly QR staff were accommodating for our 4 day stay. Patrons mostly longer term retirees. Resort is clean, quiet, well run. Clean restrooms. Clubhouse, laundry, dog run, adequate cell coverage and Wi-Fi made location ideal base camp to recharge, explore nearby attractions, and plan next stops.
Entrance to QR was wrong in Maps. Entrance is on W Hwy 82 off main Hwy 90. Dollar General nearby. Walmart in Sierra Vista.

Would stay again! Found this Park when State Parks full during March Spring Break. Full service except for WiFi that was not accessed. Spacious sites. Would stay again! Found this Park when State Parks full during March Spring Break. Full service except for WiFi that was not accessed. Spacious sites. Convenient location for day trips between Benson, Tombstone, and Bisbee,AZ.
Strong community of friendly full timers. Staff found space for us in late March. Stayed for 4 nights. Beautiful 70+F. weather but snow predicted for our departure date.
Dollar General minutes away. Walmart in Sierra Vista ~15 minutes away.

Friendly staff got me in on short notice. Spent the previous several months boondocking so appreciated the conveniences as this was the night before working my way back to MN. We stayed at this park back in March 2023 when it was still $12 for full-hookups. Just found out that they have raised their price to $25 a night. It is still a great option but wanted to make everyone aware.

Convenient to Tombstone and Coronado. Inexpensive for full hookups. The first two sites had tree overhang and we wouldn't have been able to open the slides in our 30Ft class A, but the next site was great. Lots of semi/permanent residents. Overall well maintained. Great TMobile and Verizon service - 400Mbps down on TMobile home int... more

We arrived after a day in tombstone...lot was flat, right across from the restrooms. Showers were warm. Dog run was behind the bathroom and fenced in with dog toys...clean area for dogs to run. Coffee to visitors with donuts 8am to 10am offerred rec hall near bathroom. Ice people.

I have to admit, I was leery about staying at a campground that cost $13 a night with FULL hookups. This place is amazing for the price and that's why it deserves 5 stars. I have to admit, I was leery about staying at a campground that cost $13 a night with FULL hookups. This place is amazing for the price and that's why it deserves 5 stars. I've been to a little nicer campgrounds, but this place was plenty nice. Nice, clean restrooms and showers that we used. A laundromat (quarters) and clubhouse. There are apparently quite a few campers that stay for the winter and I can understand why! Tombstone is close by.

We stayed here 3 years ago and finally made it back. This is a great park. The staff is very friendly. Plenty of sites with full hookups. The grounds are well maintained, and the utilities work perfectly. We stayed here 3 years ago and finally made it back. This is a great park. The staff is very friendly. Plenty of sites with full hookups. The grounds are well maintained, and the utilities work perfectly. The park is pretty large, so you can get plenty of steps walking it, but there is also a large trail right across the street, if you need to run or cycle. Verizon and AT&T work great here. 135/20 for Verizon and 150/15 for AT&T.

Love it here. Very quiet like we like them to be. After boondocking almost all year this is luxure at a very good price.
Wendy very nice on phone and in person when we arrived.
I would have given 5 stars if they had à pool.

We stayed at Quail Ridge for the last two years Dec -Mar and had a reserved site 144 for Dec-Mar 2022/2023. We found out from friends in the park that the park gave our reserved site to someone that wanted it. The park did not contact us to explain. I called the park and they said they gave the site we had reserved to someone that had cancer and basically to bad for us! DO NOT TRUST THEIR RESERVATIONS! I retired from the Marine Corps and Army wounded in combat (22 pieces of schrapnel) but obviously according to the park I should have cancer so they could honor my reservations.
