"Cheap and cheerful. "

The hosts are super nice and the place is quiet, clean and pretty level as a whole. Tombstone is fun and at this time of year the weather is perfect.

"Comfortable and certainly located. "

Nice place to reboot. Drove in without reservation and was greeted by Kelly who was really nice and helpful. He also gave me the 411 on the goings on in town, rock shows, shops and the like. He took me to my site which was by the wall where it... Read more

"So good. "

This was my second time staying here. And will stay again if and when I come through again. The place is kept immaculate, and Tom the camp host is my favorite part of the place. Always happy and helpful. There’s a shop that has nuts, honey,... Read more

Mike was super nice and helpful. It’s 22 bucks cash with full hooks ups. Can’t go wrong. Easy access form freeway. Felt safe.

"Easy and convenient. "

Stayed here overnight. Plenty of spaces to choose from. Do watch out for those sharp stickers everywhere. Come in pick spot and self pay. Easy.

This rest area is amazing! Lots of space to park on the north bound side of the 101. Some road noise but it’s muffled on the farthest side of the ready area. Well lit and fairly clean bathrooms. It’s a fabulous place for an overnight. Safe and... Read more

"Small and loud."

Arrived at around 7:30pm and got a spot for my 24’ RV. There were still a few spots at that time. Lucky for a Friday night. I made myself some food, watched a movie on my tablet and went to bed. It is a small lot and the traffic noise is loud... Read more

"Great place to camp."

Was here the week before Labor Day. The park is nestled between a golf course and the botanical gardens of SLO. There’s a big dog park on the Botanical side and good hiking too. There’s two parts to the campground. One is dry camping ($28 a... Read more

"Quiet and secluded. "

Had the place all to myself! Most of the sites are fairly even although I found the top tier to have the most level spots for my 24’ RV. The hookups are Conveniently located and the park also has bathrooms with showers, but I didn’t use them... Read more
