Ok, So we were Concerned. There were Some Guys Hanging Around And Asking For Cash When We First Arrived. We Waited It Out To See How Things Would Go. We Ate Dinner At Tequilas Across The Street Which Was Delicious. We Shopped At The Walmart And We Were Astounded At What An Amazing Store And Extensive Selection Of Products They Have... more
Ok, So we were Concerned. There were Some Guys Hanging Around And Asking For Cash When We First Arrived. We Waited It Out To See How Things Would Go. We Ate Dinner At Tequilas Across The Street Which Was Delicious. We Shopped At The Walmart And We Were Astounded At What An Amazing Store And Extensive Selection Of Products They Have. Big Kudos To The Staff And Management! The Parking Area Up Toward The Road Eventually Filled With RVs, Camper Vans, Cars And Semis For The Night. All Was Quiet And Safe. Would Not Hesitate To Stay Here Again. We Have A 40’ Motorhome Pulling A Crew Cab Ram.

Arrived later in the day and parked in the upper lot. We were the second to arrive but there was plenty of room. We tow a 34 foot 5th wheel. I like the ease of running into Walmart and picking up a few fresh items and whatever else we may need. Arrived later in the day and parked in the upper lot. We were the second to arrive but there was plenty of room. We tow a 34 foot 5th wheel. I like the ease of running into Walmart and picking up a few fresh items and whatever else we may need. A security person drove around at night and the lot is well lit but in was quiet and we slept well. Left around 9 am to visit Mesa Verde. High winds came up in the afternoon at the National Park and we felt we shouldn't be on the road. Spent another night at Walmart while the winds died down. Left around 9 the next morning and no one said anything to us about being there 2 nights in a row.

It’s Walmart and it’s free. No hassles and conveniently located. With plenty of space for any size rig. I felt safe and it was quiet.

The lot is clean, has plenty of garbage cans for you to put refuge in. Has a sign stating you can stay one night after that towed. Stayed here before when traveling, it gets a good amount of campers, so can be a little noisy! It’s a parking lot And as I am writing this some Jack wad just pulled in 3 feet from my rig…. I have a 31ft Class A, Towing a Jeep, I had plenty of room to park. They only allow a one night stay but it was very convenient place to stop. Especially for free.
Someone did come and ask for money... surprise surprise, it’s a Walmart parking lot.
It was a bit noisy.
Only a 10 minute drive to Mesa Verde NP.

Overnight stay in our 5th wheel RV. Very friendly manager when we called ahead to see if we could stay. They just requested we stay in the upper lot with the other RVs. It was a very popular stopover as we counted at least 15 other rigs with us and even someone that slept the night in a sleeping bag next to the curb by our trailer. ... more

It was a very popular stopover as we counted at least 15 other rigs with us and even someone that slept the night in a sleeping bag next to the curb by our trailer. Felt bad when we saw them in the morning because it was below freezing temps overnight. But it was quiet and safe. Great overnight stop.

I called they allow 1 night on upper lot area. Lots of grass for dogs on the edge of parking lot.
Stay away from corner with pot shop. People would park behind us, go purchase a joint sit behind our rig, smoke and laugh.

They have a pretty large back section of the parking lot where campers stay. It was very busy but there was enough room for everyone. The lights were very bright which is great for safety but they did shine through the windows. Would stay again.
