"Good location. Short walk to restaurants in Lee Vining"

There were lots of cottonwoods, so most or all of the sites were shaded nicely. We had an electric- and water-only site, on a gravel surface. The sites aren't particularly spacious but adequate. If the sites had more space between them, I'd likely... Read more

"OK but not great for dogs"

Our particular site had tar or some sealant in places that was so thick, we worried that our dog would get it stuck on her paws in the heat. Not all the sites had this problem but I'm pretty sure I saw the same issue at least a couple other places... Read more

"Beautiful place but..."

We really enjoyed our time here. Previous reviewers who implicitly shrieked at the restrooms and showers were not wrong but there were multiple restroom buildings. The one nearest the road merited a shriek or two. Another one, further back in the... Read more

"Quiet and out of the way"

When we were there in mid-March the no-see-under weren’t bad at all, though a lady that worked there said they tended to be bad all year round. We really liked it but the sites were not very level. The longer the rig, the more challenging it is... Read more

"We love the views here"

We squeezed into site 7 with our 33' travel trailer. Our back window and a couple of the side windows look out into the lake. To be fair, the other two side windows look directly onto the aluminum roof of the ramada. (Each site has a... Read more

"Quiet, plenty of space"

The sites here are huge for a commercial RV park (i.e., not a state park or similar). The owner was extremely nice and everything was well-maintained including the reservation and customer service operation which was done remotely and very... Read more

"Great for an equidistant site between Jasper town and Columbia Ice Field"

The campground is as others have said, though the price is now $26 Canadian, which includes firewood. Walking up the hill into the tent areas was enough of a hike for me and my dog. I suppose if it had been crowded in the tent area, it would have... Read more

"Great for an overnight stay"

Most (perhaps all) spots were pretty shady, so not great for solar. I’d have given 4 stars if the river access were a bit closer to the campground itself. The campground is fairly close to the highway so you can hear traffic but it isn’t bad... Read more

"Nice place but watch out for prairie dog holes!"

We arrived on Canada Day, so we were mildly surprised to get a site at all, in their overflow area. The main area is closer to the reservoir and each site is marked with a post. The overflow area is a grassy field and people line up as they... Read more

" Nice, inexpensive, and no cell service whatsoever"

Most people mention levelness and noise. I'll expand on those two topics. Noise: There are 3 loops, A, B, and C. A is the first loop as you enter and is closest to the road. B is further up the hill and those sites are (mostly) a bit further... Read more
