“Great view of Hwy 93 ”

There was nothing pretty about this campground. It sits just off Hwy 93, so you get lots of noise from traffic. The spaces are close together and many of them are small. There were a couple drive thru site. The only good thing is the camp ground is first come first serve. We stayed at Wilcox campground and were glad we did.

There are a *lot* of little camp sites like this along the parkway between the southern park entrance and the town of Jasper. Most of them say "max length 25 feet." Our trailer is 33 feet overall. We took a chance and pulled in to take a look. We did manage to get in and out without issue but it would have been a real challenge for a newbie.
Except right by the road, you can't easily access the stream itself, though can certainly hear it and maybe even see it if your windows point northward. I supposed we could have made it to the stream if I had been willing to drag me and my dog through the undergrowth but, alas, I was not.
Da would stay here again

“small CG in the forest”

Very small CG near the Columbia Icefields. It's right off the highway, so there's some noise. The sites seem nice. Because it's in the forest, views are somewhat limited. I really like to walk when I'm camping, so it was kind of a downside that the campground is hemmed in between the forest and the highway, with nowhere to go walking. ... more

We LOVED the price! It is $12.41 in US dollars. Lovely campground situated about 25 mins from the Icefield Centre and about an hour from Jasper. There was a firepit, pit toilets, drinking water, and a shelter house for cyclists. 25 sites.
Best suited for tenting, and motorhomes and trailers under 25 feet. May 17 - September 17

I loved this spot. I’m traveling by motorcycle and I stayed In spot #3 close to the firewood pile.
