I enjoy staying at small town parks when I'm traveling across country each spring-fall. Each one is different.
This CG has 12 well-spaced sites with 20-30-50 amp on post. No shade. Grounds are well kept. It sits near the lake and is a...

Sites are well spaced - none too close. There's 30/50 but no water or sewer. There are two shower houses, clean with hot water. Given that it's still a couple of weeks to Memorial Day and weekdays, many sites were empty. Fas as I could tell,...

The park, clean and pleasant, is large for the town's small size. Adjoins golf course. The rv site sits between pool/water slide and the small Army tank. Seems every town park in the country has some sort of military weapon.

I generally look for small midwestern towns/counties which offer rv overnight sites - a good way to get off the interstates and see small town America!
The asking donation is $10/night; I left $15. Sites are mostly shaded and close, but...

I don't get the 5-star reviews. The CG is clean and well kept, but it's nothing special, and certainly not worth the price levels between $35 to $45/night. The showers/bathrooms are clean but they're 85 yards away. Not a big deal in and of...

As fas a city/town parks go, it's on the pricier side. Clean and well kept, the park itself is spotless. The rv sites are in a line along the river. I didn't use the showers so cannot opine on that. I stayed on a Sunday night and it was quiet.
I gave it 4 stars because I think it's overpriced by $5. I frequently angle towards small town rv parking when I traverse the country, particularly west of the Big Muddy. Most are between $10 and $15/night and frequently have water at each site....

All sites on concrete pad with water spigots. Park is quiet with some fishermen on the river, and young people walking around. No wifi - pamphlet at pay kiosk says equipment was destroyed in a fire. Typical small town feel. Recommend.
The spaces are well separated, lots of trees but being winter not much shade. Bathroom/showers are clean. There's a 10% veterans discount. All sites can handle big rigs. Not much to the park - lots of picnic sites and a couple of short trails...

The CG is small and mostly shaded with huge live oak trees. Very quiet. The hosts are very nice and helpful. Until the final day I was the only one there. All sights can accommodate large RVs and have 30/50 amps and water - no dump. The sites...
