We had no issues finding the campground (CG). We were not aware of a site number upon arrival, nor was there any check-in info. There was an arrow pointing at the restroom billboard, which had no check-in information. We called the camp host number on the CG fees sign as you entered the CG area. He said there should have been a unit number on the confirmation email, and lo and behold, there was a line item, 'Unit(s): 3' on our confirmation email, so that was our site number. When we walked around to the other side of the restroom and shower buildings, there was a check-in both with misc info plus wifi info and password on the back of the laundry/resource center building. Odd location for the check-in booth, as it is on the road exiting the park. We then went to the back-in site/unit 3 with water and electric (50/30/20 AMP). All the sites here are water and electric. It was a fairly easy back-in. We had to disconnect our 40 rig and diagonally park our F450. The water and electricity were at the back of the site, and we needed about 25 feet of water hose and an electric cord. They also had decent water pressure. There were no trees in the center side of the loop, so we had no issues getting a Starlink connection or a south-pointing satellite. We got two bars on Verizon. The price we paid does not include taxes or online registration fee. The sites for the most part are nicely spaced. We were there in late December/early January, so we pretty much had the place to ourselves. The CG has a nice laundry room with a book swap. There were two washers and two dryers, but one dryer was broken and the other didn't heat up very well. A wash costs $2, and drying starts at 50 cents. As the showers are $1.50, they have a change machine in the laundry building, but it only takes $1 and $5 bills. The camp host checked in with us to make sure we were doing okay and were happy with our stay. We let him know about the dryer issue and he told us he was waiting for the county to come fix both dryers. There are nice trails out to Lake Floras and the ocean. Even in the bad weather, there were daily walkers. The nearest amenities are Langlois Market on US-101, which has been featured in Only in Your State OR, head to Langlois Market, where you'll find world-famous frankfurters. What makes these dogs so special? Locals say its the house-made sweet mustard, careful preparation, and top-notch frankfurters. This small market has your basic groceries, ice, beer, wine, and the deli.

Good location and the camp host is awesome! On the east side of the lake with the ocean just west. You can hear the rumble of the ocean at all times so if you have trouble sleeping, this might not be the place for you. Sometimes it sounds a lot like loud thunder. I loved it, but some people may find it too loud.

First, we didn't understand this is a Mecca for kite surfers. So if that's your thing, you're in luck! Pros;
- large grassy field for kids/dogs.
- playground
- sites were ok size, not private or large in any capacity, but not crammed in.
- location! A great home base for exploring Bandon, Coos Bay, Gold Beach etc. You can hear the beach at night. Quiet, away from the highway.
- bathrooms were always clean, no hot water though.
Cons;
- laundry & showers are COIN operated. $2/wash, dryers run on .50 at a time (time unknown, I hung mine out to dry). Showers say $1.50, but no idea how much time that buys you. And again, QUARTER operated.
- park host, though attentive and kind, let their dog run everywhere and poo, and never cleaned up.
-cell service on T-Mobile was non-existent. Our AT&T hotspot struggled with 1-2bars, making it barely usable. Cell service on Verizon was approx 2-3bars, making it the best of the bad connections. Park WiFi was unreliable and there was a sign saying they "are working on it".
-not FHU sites; electric and water only.
-during our stay, no one seemed to have campsite etiquette. We had tons of people walk thru our site, dogs off leash and barking (and pooping).
-we we're in site #1 and I do NOT recommend that site at all. The camp hosts were hidden in the back and everyone thought WE were the camp hosts so we were constantly disturbed.
Overall, would stay here again IF we didn't need connectivity. Not our favorite place, but not a bad spot on the coast.

CAMPGROUND WIFI - 18 mbps down and 18 up with 21 ms ping. There were 5 campsites in use.]
I specifically chose this campground. (1) It was somewhat close to my upcoming vacation spot in Bandon. (2) I had to work a ton and needed internet. (3) The campground has laundry facilities. (4) Has showers.

PROS
→ The campground hosts (there’s 2) are super friendly and social. Their dogs are super cute too.
→ The campground is within walking distance of the beach and also a lake. We did a lot of nature watching while sitting at the bench by the lake.
→ The campsites are are all black-top paved. Take the campsite size to heart. If it’s listed for 21 feet then it’s only 21 feet long.
→ The SHOWERS. Each round of shower costs $1.50 for 6 minutes for delightfully hot water and good pressure. The shower rooms are individual rooms outside. There’s two. The one I used has a place to hang your bag, a table to set your wet toiletry bottles on, a chair to put my dry clothes on (or sitting) and a trash can. I cannot emphasize how nice it was to have the trash can in the shower room.
→ The women’s bathroom is clean and also has a space heater running. How wonderfully, comfortable.
→ The laundry room. We used it a lot. There’s a quarter exchange machine for $1 and $5 bills. There’s a small vending machine with basic laundry cleaning items. The washers I think were $2 and the dryer was 25¢for 8 minutes. There’s a table where you can fold your laundry and also work on your laptop like I did. The wifi signal is really good in there. (My speedtest was actually done at my campsite 19.) Bring a cleaning cloth to clean the table as it gets dusty and a wee bit sandy (it’s still a campground). The laundry room also has a space heater.
→ Firewood is for purchase for $5.
CONS
→ The dump station was expensive. We didn’t use it. It’s $10 for campers and $30 for non-campers.
→ For those that care, there’s virtually no privacy at the campsites. It’s a communal sort of campground. Just be aware. We didn’t mind but there was also only 5 campsites in use.
4.5-stars - The dump station is the culprit but if you have a small rig, do like a van I saw. Put a bucket under the grey tank valve, collect the grey water and dump it in the dish water drains that are throughout the campground. 👌

We were pleasantly surprised upon arrival and speaking to the host, Meghan that the total for a site with electricity, and water is $30! Plus, there's a dump station on-site!
There are so many great amenities that full-timers like us will appreciate such as laundry! $2 to wash, 50 cents to dry. A change machine and detergent! In addition to dumpsters, there are bins for recycling!! The wifi was excellent as site number 7 is right next to the waypoint. It didn't hurt that only one other camper is here. ;-) There's a huge grassy area in the center of the campground for dogs and kids to play. At each site, you'll have a fire ring and picnic table.
It's a very short walk to the lake and a small boat ramp where you can launch your small vessels. The ocean is a little longer but easy to walk, and the views are breathtaking. Lots of room to explore and take long walks.
The website (and onsite signage) will say there's a $10 fee to use the dump station for paying guests, but per the host, it's FREE if you pay for a site.
There are bathrooms and showers onsite. We didn't check them out though.
Cell signal was workable, two bars on Verizon and T Mobile inside the campground, and excellent out on the beach. You could work on the beach if necessary! :)
We're in a 27' TT and we fit into the hookup site fine with room to spare. There are a couple of dry spots we could have fit in, but most of those are more appropriate for very small rigs and tents.
The area is super quiet, all we heard were ocean waves and birds.
