We first stayed in the deluxe site that had a porch with a couch and propane heater coffee table. What I did not like about this site and many of the sites on the road is they were not level. Before putting blocks under the wheels, it had the front wheels completely off the ground and still needed another inch. We decided to stay a few more days and moved to the South side. Great level pad, clean bathrooms and laundry, and moose walking through the campsite each morning. Loved running the jeep around the trails and good food in town. Really enjoyed the museum and worth every penny of the $12 entry fee. Was able to easily work remote with T-Mobile and stream movies at night. Starlink is pretty fast here as well. Really appreciated the weather as it was 95 in Denver and 110 in Texas and 68 here.

This resort is best suited for OHV users since the mountains and dirt roads are off-road heaven. Ninety percent of RV were toy-haulers. We stayed over 4th July weekend and had a blast. The hosts are very helpful and eager to please. Their office area is also stocked with food, ice cream, and RV accessories (should you leave something at home). One downer - wifi access is limited to sitting in their store area (one table and one counter area) and is still slow. Lots of dust around here so be prepared for that. Back-in RV sites are close together, limiting privacy, and uneven should you want to pitch a tent (which costs extra). We felt a little crowded with our neighbors, but people are mostly inside their RVs. Pull-through sites had a little more room. All-in-all, a good experience and a good value.

Lots of UTV’s close together sites, but beautiful scenery and nice staff! If you want quiet, ask for the south campground!

This is a great place to stay if you are riding OHVs and want a massive amount of beautiful trails. The campground itself was also awesome.

Nice area. Very nice staff. Perfect if u have a razor or other off road vehicle. Town is ok but ridiculous mask rules. Didn’t shop there. Went to Ouray instead. Much nicer town. Not a lot of good hiking trails. Good here for two to three days maybe not a week. We left early.

The campground is small with nice views of the mountains. The sites are very close to each other. Too close. The WiFi was weak at our campsite but they did offer to use their wifi at the office. Cellular was good (Visible on Verizon). I used my HotSpot for wifi.
I thought it was overpriced. I would stay there again in a pinch. We also stayed at Kendal Campground just outside Silverton. Free and great spots.

The campground itself was well maintained, as were the laundry and shower facilities. Our site was level and the utilities were all easy to access for setup. Access to Jeep/ATV/UTV trails were right out of our site, you don't even have to get on the main road and there are some amazing trails here if you are Jeepers like we are. We liked it so much here we are going to stay for a month next time. Highly recommended!

Very clean and friendly staff. Sites are close together. Access to ATV and hiking trails straight from camp. Amazing views. We did not have reservations and they were very accommodating and were able to squeeze us in last min. The reason for 4 stars is we were backed up to the road and our site was a bit soggy.

I told her that was bad business practice and bid her a good day.
