Stayed for a night while passing through...We were able to pull our 46’ 5th wheel toy hauler in..roads a little rough at parts, but they do look to be kept up pretty well. Need to take it slow, but do-able with a large rig if you are comfortable with it.
Beautiful view. Will definitely be returning here.

The cows are friendly and nothing to worry about.
Would have stayed longer but we’ve got to keep moving.

CAMP HERE!!! It was so amazing. There were cars and RVs lining the ledge for miles, you can literally pull up anywhere. Felt like a nice community but not at all crowded, everyone had their own space. No bathrooms but that’s a small price to pay for the amazing views! There were also hundreds of cows which was fun.

Nomad View is a really great place. The scenery is unbelievable and I really recommend staying here. What beats free camping with an awesome view! The wind can be rough here as two of our three days camping were very windy. If the road is wet you may have a tough time getting in or out. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon around 2:00 and had no problems finding a site. The area is clearly marked to where you can camp. You will see tents, travel trailers, Class Cs and As. Everyone can find a spot here. One tip...do not enter at the first turn off coming from Wall, there is a steep hill. Instead, enter at the second gate and follow the road to the right of the towers. Go right or left and you'll find a spot. We felt safe and even met some great people while camping here.

There’s some terrain that breaks the wind near the cell towers where we saw other tents. We stayed about halfway down to the bend if you turn left at the towers. There’s a sloped turnoff that an RV would never get level on but there’s a flat spot for a tent. We had some strong winds but had our fly staked down with some ground screws.

Awsome views of the Wall. Good cell service, easy access, watch for the cell tower for the turn on dirt road. Beware wet periods, soil is clay and no traction.

Very clean, quiet, and peaceful! Excellent view. First night was a little crowded, second night less crowded. Cows grazed close by in the evenings, and the sunsets/sunrises were amazing! Some spots are not very level. We had very high winds. Would definitely visit again!

You are camped right on the edge of a cliff overlooking the grassland and bandlands for miles and just outside the national park. Plenty of spots to park although it did get busy on the weekends. Some sites are level and some are not so the better locations usually go first. All sites have great views so you can't go wrong. Most are separated between pull offs so you get good space between campers and it is very quiet. We were able to capture pictures of big horn sheep, pronghorns, prairie dogs and plenty of buffalo. The wildlife is fantastic.
During our week long stay we experienced some crazy wind, hail and lightning storms. I've never seen so many lightning strikes in such a short time in my life. Nothing that bothered us. It just made the night sky amazing to watch. We easily hit 60mph wind gusts one day and had 1/2" hail. We had no issues but I felt sorry for a couple of tent campers nearby. Despite the crazy weather most days were clear with pleasant temperatures and the bugs were not too bad. We did get a couple mice in our fifth wheel so be prepared to deal with that.
There is a free dump station 18 miles into the park at Cedar Pass Campground. Sign says $1 but it is actually free and has potable water and garbage. Both AT&T and T-Mobile coverage was good with speeds around 15Mbps.
Overall one of our favorite spots!

No access to water or electricity strictly off the grid camping. Road in had a few holes but nothing to worry about I have a 17' and I see some big rigs here. Close to town 7.1 miles from my camp. Takes 10 minutes to drive into the town. The grocery store is a little and quaint. The Wall Food Center is 103 W. South Blvd. in Wall. Great for some stock up supplies. The dump station is close at the Wasta Campground for $5.00 and potable water if your not staying on site.
