This little campground is an absolute jewel. From the location in the Georgia mountains to quite possible the best hosts/owners we have ever encountered in my 25 plus yrs of camping. I mean how many campgrounds have their own theatre. The free "Porch Picking" entertainment and ice cream on Saturday night was hard to beat. Even though the sites have fire rings there is also a community fir ring to enjoy and meet your neighbors. The bathhouses were absolutely spotless and the pavilion with the big rocking chairs made morning or evening a beautiful area to take in the beauty of the 'Hills' of Hiawassee. I/we would and will without a doubt be camping at this slice of heaven in the near and distant futures.

Wonderful campground and PJ and Louie are great host. This is the cleanest, best kept campground that my husband and I have been to. We had 5 wonderful days at this picturesque campground. PJ, Peanut and Louie go out of their way to make you feel like family.
We definitely hope to be able to return.

Out of all the RV parks where my wife and I have stayed, this one deserved a 10 star rating. Meeting them for the first time, the owners, PJ and Louie, treated us like their best friends, bending over backwards to make our stay comfortable, yet respecting our privacy while caring for our needs.
Facilities were impeccably maintained. Bathhouse and laundry was fresh and spotless. Louie promptly and painstakingly releveled and mowed each site before it was reused by the next RV.
The beauty of the surrounding Blue Ridge mountains, coupled with surprising extra-mile features (karaoke, Saturday evening concerts with local talent, bonfire gatherings, etc) makes this campground a go-back-to retreat for us, even though it's 600 miles from our home

I wish I could say that this campground is terrible only to keep this find all to ourselves. The truth is that this was one of the best camping experiences we have had and can't wait to return. I was truly amazed that the owners remembered us by name continuously during our stay and their hospitality was superb. So, if you are looking for a small family owned campground that is quaintly placed in the north Georgia mountains where "everybody knows your name", this is it. I can't say thanks enough to Louie and PJ for making us feel so welcome. Until we meet again.....

We really enjoyed our stay at MVC. Our spot was level, beautiful views, clean restrooms and laundry. We loved the rocking chair porch. PJ and Louie are by far the best hosts we have ever encountered. We can hardly wait to go back, already have reservations.

PJ, Louie, and Peanut are great hosts who make you feel like part of the family from the time you check in. We had such a good experience that we booked two more stays before we left!

I’ve been RVing for 50 years. This is one of the best private RV parks we have ever stayed in. The sites are super level and well maintained. The whole place is clean and neat. But it’s the owners/hosts that make place.

If you are looking for a peaceful, friendly, quiet and exceptionally fun camping getaway in the N. Georgia mountains, then this is the campground for you. Everything from the the way PJ and Louie (and Peanut!) greet you at check-in, through the wonderful live entertainment on weekends (which includes ice cream sandwiches, my favorite!), until the sad moment when you have to leave, this camping experience is perfection. If you like to hike like us, there are numerous trails a short drive away, including several access points to the AT. If you prefer to hang out at the campground and get to know people, the rocking chairs on the porch are the way to go. One piece of advice: do not challenge PJ to ping pong at the Mountain View ping pong table. Trust me on this.
