We have stayed here 3 times now and have fallen in love with Long Ridge! It is a very nice, private campground back off the road but not very far from town, Hiawasee. Near the lake also. Campground has a nice little fishing pond (catch and release), camp store with some supplies and souvenirs, A bath house with a couple showers and bathroom, and very well maintained clean sites. They have 30 and 50 amp service, full hookups. Fire pits, and I nice little creek over near the tent sites. It is very quiet here. The owners are awesome as we met them the first time we went here. The camp host, Doug and Cindy are the best and they will do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable. We have become good friends with them and are so great full for all there hard work and what they do! If you are looking for a campground that’s quiet and relaxing place to just get away from it all, Longridge is the place.

Upon arrival we were immediately greeted by the owners and host. They were so friendly. We had the area next to the bathhouse to ourselves most of the week which was lovely. There are a mix of seasonal and non-seasonal campers on site. It’s quiet and well maintained. They were making some improvements while we were there so I’m sure it will only get better. The campground is tucked away but is in a prime location for accessing many of the great sites and hikes in the area. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

A sweet little campground. Clean, small, quiet, economical. Lovely views and very relaxing. As a single camper, it's important for me to feel safe and I was so comfortable here. Wi-Fi and phone reception were excellent. The hosts couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. I have a tiny camper so maneuvering down the narrow road wasn't an issue for me. I like to be off the beaten track a bit. More peaceful. I loved it.

This is a quirky little park. Road in is long and really narrow. Our site was an easy to get in pull through that was pretty level. Some of the back in sites looked more challenging. I wouldn’t recommend this park until you are comfortable maneuvering your rig. But setting itself is very lovely. It is in a mountain hollow with a small lake and babbling brook. Very quiet at night. Lots of long term residents but they are very friendly. Shopping and hiking within 10-15 miles. WiFi actually worked well. No amenities except bathhouse.

I cannot remember if we had ATT in this park. I am pretty sure we did.

The owners were extremely helpful and friendly! My site was nicely shaded but not much of a bee except my neighbors big rig. The park itself is clean and does have some very nice spots, I just wasn’t in one of them.
Many long term rigs. Pond was nice... beautiful location with hills/ mountainous terrain around it. Plenty of places to walk the dog etc.
I would definitely stay here again.
WiFi sketchy and my hotspot barely worked either... not good for streaming , but we are in the mountains here... it’s like that most places here.

This was our first time heading out into RV land. We could not have picked a better place to get our feet wet. The owners are super nice and extremely helpful. The road into the campground is a little tight but certainly manageable. After checking in two attendants met us at our site and helped guide us in. Our spot was heavily shaded and back up to beautiful thick woods. In the center of the park is a small catch and release pond. The site was mostly level and covered with gravel. We had a 50 amp hookup with water and sewer. The grounds are well kept and look great. Overall it was a very pleasant first time out and we definitely plan on coming back!
