Our second time here. Easy to make reservations and check in. Super nice people staying at the campground. staff is very friendly and helpful. The views are amazing! The campground is slowly but surely being upgraded which is so nice. Super clean laundry and restrooms. Grounds are spotless. we so love coming here. So relaxing.

My only complaint is the entrance driveway is extremely rough which wouldn’t be a problem if it weren’t so steep. My rig is a fifth wheel light that I tow with a half ton truck. Is is sensitive to weight distribution as a result. The steepness caused my fifth wheel RV to lift and the rear wheels of my truck to lose traction coming into the park. I actually had to shift into 4WD to pull the hill entering the park. A typical motorhome or heavy pin weight fiver or TT should have no problem, but take it slow. It’s a lot rougher than it looks.
Other than that, this park is a great place to get away for a peaceful, quiet stay.

Friendly, helpful campground owners, spacious sites, beautiful views, and even lightning fast wifi. There was a concert Saturday night at the Music Barn (free for campers) that we really enjoyed. Immaculate bathhouse, nice landscaping, close to shopping and restaurants. Some nice hikes and Lake Chatuge for boating are very close by; tons of mountain towns and state parks within an hour or so. All sites are back-in, full hook up. Only real negative I can think of is the steep and rough driveway into the campground, but that wasn't a big deal....just bumpy.

Not a large camp but everyone I met was warm and welcoming. Mike and Damien were wonderful hosts even providing a Saturday breakfast, karaoke and a singer/songwriter who was thoroughly enjoyable.
Cable TV at each site and unlimited WiFi with great reception.
My airstream self-locked on the 2nd day and they had a locksmith there within an hour. Mike and Damien will do whatever it takes to smooth problems and ensure your stay is as enjoyable as is within their ability.
I highly recommend the Mountain View Camp and will try to return asap.

I usually reserve a perfect rating for fancy parks with pools, spas, etc but this park is a different kind of perfect. Beautiful green grass, mountain views, rustic feels yet full hook-ups. But it is the new owners who make the place. They live on the grounds and are available at a moments notice. They guide you to your spot and are just fun to be around. That seems to filter down and makes the other campers happy and friendly. We were there for the eclipse and they had entertainment for the weekend- movies every night and a fantastic country artist in concert at the barn on Monday. The park was 100% full yet never felt crowded. Sites were grass, level. The park is close to shopping and restaurants. We will be back in Georgia in the spring and look forward to staying here again. Only thing missing is a dog park but they already have plans to add that soon.

The setting, the owners, Mike and Damion, the client-ell they draw in, is simply amazing. This is a beautiful campground, beautifully manicured, constant effort to keep the grounds in an ever enjoyable state, wonderfully eclectic, everything spic and span, owners will do everything to make your stay wonderful. They have a outstanding theatre on site where movies are shown, music venues are performed on stage (heard they have booked many talents for this year already) with an awsome sound system, the owners cook and provide goodies on occasion.
Bathrooms/showers are always super clean!
Mountain View also provides internet and it was exceptional!!!!
We really cannot say enough about Mountain View. We used to have one favorite place, we now have two!
We wanted to stay longer but had a commitment with family.....we will return soon!!!!!!
This is a great area for hiking, waterfalls, some nice towns to sight see in......just an al around joy!!!
Mike and Damion purchased this property not to long ago and I understand it was in disrepair, but you could not tell it, what an effort.
Go see Mike and Damion soon because I think its going to be hard to get in in the future!!!!!

Had a great time camping at Mountain View, Damien and Mike are great hosts. The breakfast they cooked Saturday for us was an added bonus. The bathrooms are ridiculously clean and the campground is just a little slice of heaven. Do yourself a favor and try this place out.

This was supposed to be a 3-day stay before we headed to North Carolina, but after 2 days we extended for a couple more weeks, followed by a couple more, and before we knew it we stayed here for over 2 months! The new owners are awesome and make everyone that stays here feel like family. I also love the fact that they built the picnic tables themselves, amongst other things and if you visit you should ask to see Damien's landscape photography and drone footage!
You're surrounded by stunning mountain views, which make the bonfires that much more enjoyable and there's even an old barn where they occasionally have cookouts, live music, karaoke, or play movies. The wi-fi is the best we've had at a campground so far, which is important for us since we work on the road and the FREE laundry is definitely a plus since we don't have a w/d in our 35 ft RV.
Best of all, you're smack dab in the North Georgia mountains and close to state parks, lakes, and hiking trails. This place was affordable, safe, and gave us the flexibility to explore nearby mountain towns, or venture out a couple hours and spend time in North Carolina (you're actually less than 30 min. from the NC border). While you're nestled in the mountains, there's an Ingles grocery store, Rite-Aid, and hardware store less than 10 minutes away and a Walmart and Home Depot about 30 minutes away in Blairsville. If you've never been, be sure to check out Brasstown Bald, which is the highest point in GA, less than 30 minutes away, and has jaw dropping views!
We did mention the driveway being rather bumpy to the owners and were told that they plan to level it out more in the future, but the previous owner actually installed an old bridge as the driveway, which is why it's that way. Even though it could use some improvement, that added part of history makes me appreciate the driveway a bit more now. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again if we come back to this area.

This campground opened up just this past November. The two guys that own it are incredibly nice and so very accommodating. They made sure that we were happy and settled into our spot. The price given is with Passport America. No restrictions!
There are full time residents here, but they are nice and really make you feel like they are proud of their home. They helped us as well find things and let us know about a campfire they were going to have. The first couple sites on the left are nice, decently spaced. The sites to the right seemed a bit closer. One of the greatest things about this campground. FREE LAUNDRY! They really only have 1 washer and 1 dryer, so that could create some problems if the campground is full since you share it with the residents. They had a set for themselves but I think they are trying to keep that separate.
One of the owners is also a photographer and has group outings every once in a while and they are free as well. There is a picnic area and a couple grills. They are dog friendly and I didn't see any restrictions as long as they are well mannered and you pick up after them.
The location is nice, it's just a 5-10 minute drive into town and to Lake Chatuge. There isn't much to do in the the city. It is about 45 minutes to Blue Ridge that had a cute down town and train station for a scenic train ride to Tennessee.
One of the negatives would be the driveway leading up to the office and campground. It's steep and the driveway is broken into chunks. Also would have liked to have seen some dog pick up stations. There isn't a lot of space for parking your vehicle and no overflow parking that we could see.
There was definitely not a lot to complain about. We were only going to be there 3 nights and then we ended up staying 6. It's around 45 minutes to some of the major hikes in the area, so not too bad.
This campground is still very new and so they are definitely on their way to 5 stars. They are just figuring out the business of a campground and finishing up things that need to be done. They provide free wifi, which you might need to use because service for us with Verizon would go in and out. Same with friends staying with us who had AT&T. It would say you have service but wouldn't load. That was another nice thing about this place that might change in the future. They do not charge for extra people.
All in all we would definitely stay here again if we were in the area. There were campgrounds that were closer to the lakes, but the price with Passport America made it worth it for us.
