Hiked all over from the beach enjoyed the view, campfires allowed (coming from our home state of CA where you can’t have campfires with dispersed camping) was awesome, our 2 year old loved he sand, rocks, and shells. We found a spot that was more secluded away from other campers. We had no issues getting in and out with a 30ft Imagine and a f-250 4x4. We will definitely come back and would have stayed longer if we didn’t have somewhere to be on a deadline. Oh! And you get 50% off with a senior or annual park pass so we only paid $7 with my Father in laws senior pass. Only had voice service roaming with T-Mobile. Father in law had data with Verizon.

We absolutely loved our stay at Lone Rock Beach on Lake Powell. The lake was very low so there were acres of beach for camping. If you want more privacy, choose a spot further from the water or in the dunes. If you want a front row seat, you will have neighbors and on weekends, they may be close neighbors. Most RVs stay on the upper level, while most tenters set up camp on the water’s edge. Although I saw a few brave souls with travel trailers make it down to the water.
We unhooked in the parking lot and scouted before taking the rig off the pavement. There were several well-defined paths to the beachfront camping, but some were much more big-rig friendly than others. And do scout. While there are ways that are perfectly safe for even the largest rigs to make it onto the beach, there are also plenty of sand traps. Watching folks in everything from Class A’s to Jeeps get stuck was a daily occurrence. If you have the *ahem* pleasure of experiencing high winds during your visit, scout again before you leave as the wind was happily rearranging the deep sand and after a week’s stay and several wind storms we chose a different route out.
For your $14/night fee the park service provides a dump station, potable water, garbage dumpsters, bathrooms (vault toilets on the beach). There are also restrooms and possibly showers at the comfort station in the parking lot, but it was closed for the season when we visited. Oh, and lake access and views to die for… I considered it a bargain!
The ATV's can be noisy, especially if there are few racing up and down near the campsites. It quieted down after dark though and law enforcement as well as park rangers made frequent appearances so there was never any problems.
The town of Page has all the services you could ask for and a lovely library with fast wifi. Just hanging out and playing in the water was a treat, but there is also so much to see and do in the area! We did several of the hikes and tours during our stay including the short, but scenic Toadstools hike, the Glen Canyon float, and the boat tour to Rainbow Bridge National Monument.
We had 4 bars of Verizon 4G.

It's a popular place, but no defined sites. Just pull in 'somewhere' that works for you and enjoy. There are no hookups, but they did have pit toilets and a RV dump on the way out.

Awesome OHV area for dirt bikes, keeps, and Polaris razor.
Seriously, this place has it all.
Here’s the downside. The national Park service has hijacked this real estate from The People and sold it back to us in exchange for a fee and a whole bunch of policing.

Loved this place especially in the morning and evening. If you are careful you can drive your big rig right down to the beach. Just keep moving. One day was very windy and heavy dust came up. Two years later I still have some of that dust in my locks and other places. But this year, May 2019, I'm going back.

However I have seen 2 people get stuck since we’ve been here, so stay off the sand! There is potable water up by the dump station on the left before you get down to the camping area. Lots of space but it you come on a busy weekend you might not get to park on the from row but behind other RVers. You wouldn’t have a clear Lake view if that happened. It’s also a popular spot for those with ATVs because of the off-road area! Another huge plus is being so close to Horseshoe Bend & Antelope Canyon!!

To play it safe, we didn't go to the shoreline, although I'm sure our 36ft. fifth wheel toy hauler would have done just fine. The shoreline can get very crowded (can't blame them after all...beach front camping). Incredible sunsets at night. Quiet and felt safe. There are vault toilets on site, and an area for outdoor showers/rinsing off at the top and a dump station. There were 2 faucets, one for potable water and one for non-potable water. The potable water faucet had been stripped, so we couldn't use the water from it. We ended up pulling our rig into the host site which was empty for the season to fill up water.
Something to keep in mind. If you are coming here it's $15 if you have a national parks pass that grants you free entry. If you do not have this pass, then it will be $30 per day in addition to the $15 camping fee. Seriously though, it's a gorgeous campsite only 20 minutes from Page. Close to Glen Canyon Dam, Grand Staircase Escalante, and Horseshoe bend.

We have 2wd with a small trailer and didn’t have any problems in the sand. Stay on the left half of the beach and you won’t have any trouble. There were tons of rigs of all sizes and we never saw anyone get stuck. No defined sites, so people park pretty close to each other to get lake views.
