Yes you do. There is a kiosk as you enter the camping area. Be very careful where you drive. There are so soft sandy areas. Stay on travelled roads.

You will enter the area through a attended booth and pay a fee, place the tag on your mirror and they will check daily for your tag

You will need to pay at the entry gate. I think it’s $14 a day with a limit of 14 days I think. That’s all you need to do.

There is a cost to camp... $14/night I think. Half price if you have a discount pass like the Senior or America the Beautiful Passes.

Lone Rock Beach is in the National Recreation area So there is a fee to camp there. There is a station as you enter the area where you can pay. All open beach camping so you can pick the area you want. There are pit toilets available.

There is a ranger station you drive through to get in. I think a couple of years ago we paid $15 at the station

Yes, there's a self-pay station right at the entrance. It's electronic, and accepts credit/debit cards.

No permit required and you can camp anywhere after main entrance. There is a natl park entry fee (unless you have access pass) and an additional camping fee.
