It seems like they have done recent work on the CG, many large mostly level sites. The only thing is whatever dirt they are using to level sites seems like it would be pretty slimy in the rain, but it didn’t rain while we were here so can’t say for sure. A few could accommodate any size rig. Mosquitoes were quite bad- we didn’t spend any time outside, and when we tried to go for the little hike to the river one morning it was so bad we just walked the loop and went back to the trailer… about 10-15 min to information center in Dawson.
We dumped at one of the RV parks for $5 and water fill for approx $1/25 gal.

Pit toilets were clean.
Nice trail to walk to the Klondike River but lots of mosquitos.
Close to the airport so some noise from planes and helicopters from 7 AM until 8 PM.
Easy access back to the highway to go to Dawson City or the Dempster Highway.
Our first experience camping at a territorial park and we were quite pleased.

We have a corner site that was easy to back into. It is partially shaded. Good space between us and the next sites but I can see into the one site next door.
There is a short walking trail with interpretative signs that takes you down to a beaver dam and then the river. It was really nice but with a lot of mosquitoes.
The campground is about 20km from Dawson and about the same to the junction with the Dempster Highway, We are using this as a base while we go hiking in the Tombstone Mountains - we didn’t want to drive the RV on the Dempster to the campground there.
The campground is across the street from the airport and a Yukon fire base. With the current forest fires there is a lot of activity there and we see/hear the helicopters during the day and early evening. “Regular” air activity appears to be minimal.
There is recycling at the campground and what looks to be a nice playground.

The sites are large and pretty private. There was a short hiking trail from the campground to the river with a beaver dam in one of the creeks. There is a playground and picnic pavilion. The campground is clean. There are pit toilets, trash, and hand pump water that needs to be boiled.
