This place is very secure, and recommended by the Toumbstone Ranger to leave the RV and drive the Dempster Highway to Tuktoyaktuk! No frills, cheap, safe and simple. Would probably not stay longer - but the car wash facilities are fine (2 hoses with great pressure).
HappyCamper would stay here again

1) Arrived and asked for elec/water site. We were told we wouldn't fit (we're only 26") This was a lie. We saw the sites and we would definitely fit. 2)We were told they didn't have any of those sites available. This was a lie. Many were open the 3 days we were there.
3) We were told we had to take f/h with cable site for $30 (CAD). This was a lie. This was not full hook up with cable as:
a) the sewer hook up was at the neighbors' patio and he covered it with rocks so we couldn't use.
b) He also keeps a LARGE pile of his dog's poo at the sewer hook up. The smell was horrible. There was also
dog poo all over the place.
c) he cable does not work and they knew this but didn't tell us; waited for us to say something then it was
"yea, we can't get it to work".
The staff was not friendly. Check in was a pain. The laundry room is dirty with old machines. The grounds are terrible. Don't stay here.

Packed in sites, overgrown weeds, RV wash out of order, weak 30amp Voltage protection continues to pop, can’t even run one AC and refrigerator ☹️ Cable not working. Really can’t find a thing good to say about park. Lots of long term residence mixed in with daily use spots. Stay in provincial park or RV park downtown!!!

We knew we were going to take a layover day to explore Dawson, and we're so glad we did. In fact, I wish we'd stayed longer. This park provides a place to park and we had 15amp electric for the chilly mornings. Since we were there in early June, we were apparently still ahead of the crowds and had no one else parked in "our" row. The staff were very friendly, the price was right, and the sani-dump was included in the price.
That said, we were surprised to find the showers cost a loony for 2 minutes and fresh water fill was metered. The laundry was priced to convince you to turn them inside out and put them back on. ;-)
Next time, we'll roll the dice on one of the other options, hoping for less nickel & diming. I suspect we'll go across the river to the Government campground and forego the access to power.
