Typical wonderful Yukon government camp. Clean pit toilets free wood. Nice spacing between sites
Water available with a one minute boil order. Water was full of iron. We used it for washing dishes but used our own water for drinking or cooking. It wasn’t necessary if boiled but our choice
$20 Canadian. $14 usd

This campground has some of the largest pull throughs that I have every seen! This very fine Yukon campground looks as though it does not often get used. There were a lot of mosquitos!
We walked the trail system, which is well marked and most the trail had been recently cleared of downed trees. There was road construction in the area with a pilot car, so with reduced speeds we could not hear the highway.
Pay for your FCFS site online for $18, or $20 onsite. No cell service.

Originally, we were going to use this to break up the drive from Whitehorse to Dawson but decided to stay an extra night and drive the “Silver Trail”.
(The Silver Trail started about 30km away at Stewart Crossing and ends in Keno City. The museum in Keno City is well worth the drive & the hiking looked to be really good).
The first night we stayed there were less than 10 sites occupied and I think there were only 3 of us the 2nd night.
The sites are all large (wide and long) and there are a number of pull thrus available.
There are a couple of walking trails that lead down to the creek.
We couldn’t hear any road noise from our site but i noticed a lot of noise during the day on the sites closest to the road.
While we were there, a fire ban was implemented for most of the Yukon. I didn’t think it was handled well at this campground - a team came in and put caution tape up on the firewood containers (which we didn’t see until the next day) but didn’t post a NO Fires sign and they didn’t say anything to us. We could have unknownly had a fire if we already had the wood at our site.
There was no cell service.

Arrived around 3:00 - camp was about 20% occupied. Location was clean, firewood well stocked and trash empty. Plenty of wildlife, saw rabbits, squirrels, various birds and 3 bears.
No cell service
