We considered staying in some of the national forest campgrounds so that we could enjoy the views in the Teton area. However, we needed the convenience of better cell coverage and we wanted easier access to Jackson. We had an electrical site. Bathrooms were clean and the campground is well maintained. We did not have a view, but we did talk to others in the non electrical area that said they had a beautiful view of the mountains. We agree with other reviewers that it is a busy campground. But, this did not bother us as we spent very little time at the campground and mostly just used it as a home base while exploring Teton and Jackson.

The place was clean and there was a dump station (be sure to plan your timing-- there can be a serious line up!).
It is South of the park, so you still have to drive from the campground to get in.
The campground itself was forested and felt like any other forested campground with lots of people.
What makes it worth is all the amazingness down the road!

We camped here for the bathrooms and because the other CGs were full. Too many campfires and the sites were just OK. No views from the CG and it felt like the tent in the adjacent site was right on top of us. It does fill up at the height of the tourist season.
I did have decent Verizon 4G without a booster, here.

A couple of nice thing about this campground: 1-Paved roads. 2- Paved, leveled sites within 1”, 3- Clean restrooms with flush toilets and sinks. 4- Good tasting potable water. 4- Fire rings and leveled designated Tent sites. 5- Limited cell service, so phone and texting work but videos don’t, (limits the time Olivia can play on her iPad). 6- Very few irritating bugs.
The negatives are, 1- it’s crowed, but the sites are situated far enough from each other between 15-25 yards, so it doesn’t feel squished. 2- it’s cost $105.00/wk to boondock or $273/wk for just electric, you can decide if that’s pricey. Those prices are with our senior discount.

This used to be our favorite place to camp. It has become too popular and now is not as enjoyable as it used to be. They were also doing construction, which closed down one loop, which only made the problem worse.

This really is a great campground and it is BIG!!! But only one loop has electricity and there is a group loop and a tent only loop. When we were there two of the loops were closed for renovations. I've heard it said that this is usually the last of the Grand Teton campgrounds to fill up....if it does, but this place is GREAT!

We stayed here the last week of May 2018 including over the memorial day weekend.
Our $15 rate was for a non-electric site and included the 50% access discount. Normal rate is $29 a night (2018 rates). Electric sites are $53 a night.
It's a great campground in a great location. The campground is undergoing some renovations - a couple of the loops are closed and another couple loops are freshly paved.
The western half of the campground (from the entrance road) does not allow generators. There are several tent sites as well as two employee loops as well as the group campsite loop. The eastern half has one electric loop, two loops closed for renovations and the remainder allow generator use from 8am-10pm.
None of the site (except the employee sites) have water or sewer connection - there is a double dump station and a water spigot near the entrance. These are crowded in the morning as people check out.
There is a wide variety of site sizes to fit tents up to big (45ft) rigs. Since it's first-come-first-served, those with larger rigs will want to arrive early to increase the chance of getting a spot since those are more limited in number. Unlike a lot of other campgrounds, ensure you check in at the office first - don't go find an open site and then go to the office.
Internet access varies a lot across the campground. The towers are all in the Jackson area, to the west-southwest of the campground. This means the sites furthest east have the weakest signal.
- Verizon was generally good throughout the park with 2-3 bars of LTE and decent latency and speeds (except evenings)
- AT&T was much more spotty and signal disappeared at the east end of the campground.
- We didn't use our T-Mobile connection, but it showed decent signal strength in the campground.
Even on Memorial Day weekend, the campground didn't fill up completely, but we were still early in the season.
Overall this is an excellent campground with great access to the Tetons while being close to Jackson for supplies/groceries. It doesn't have the epic views of some of the other campgrounds, but it is still very scenic and a joy to stay at.

Great place to stay within Great Teton National Park. A moose walked right through our site! Apparently this is a good place for seeing moose, as there were many signs delineating what to do and not do in the event of a moose encounter.

This was our second stay in three years, and remains one of our favorite places to recon Jackson and the Tetons. Plan to see moose (and meeses 🤔) during the early morning. We stayed towards the West end of the park, away from the generator noise. Go and relax.

It's a great location for visiting the Grand Teton NP in a lovely rural setting. It does have a dump station and fresh water and restrooms but there are no facilities on site. A bit expensive for what you get. Sites need a makeover. You can use your generator in certain areas from 8am to 10pm.

I parked the truck in an area where rocks had been laid to create a parking spot. The third day there he rides through and without stopping, just yells at the top of his lungs like a drill instructor, "GET THAT TRUCK OFF THE GRASS, IF YOU DON"T I WILL TELL THE RANGER!" He didn't stop and identify himself as an employee and ask me to move. Fact is the ranger had driven through twice and had seen my truck parked and made no comment. Two days later the loud mouth jerk came through with an employee on his cart and made the remark loud enough for me to hear, "I made this man move his truck" like it was one of his greatest accomplishments. This man needs serious re-training, until then his skill set lends itself to the laying of rocks for more parking spaces.
