We arrived on a Friday and we are the only ones here. We circled around and opted to go back to the first spot, which offered a nice big lawn for our 43’ toy hauler. Fairly level, with some trees to block any wind. It is a hunting area, and our two labs, (who yes, we let off leash because there is NO ONE around), found a few carcass (deer) piles. Nice area to walk and watch sunsets. Two small towns about 10 minutes away, one in each direction.

It is five miles to a Dollar General store about 2 miles is gravel and sand road. Cars, trucks and motorhomes can come down this road very easily. If you ride a motorcycle the gravel and sand road can be very hard to ride on.
I was here in first part of September, the weather ranged from 80’s to 90’s in the day and 50’s and 60’s at night. Sunny most of the time.
If I come back this way I will stay here again.
Verizon service in not very good here. I could watch YouTube most of the time but I could not make phone calls.

They're were plenty of spots, we looped around the reservoir to find a very large spot that would have accommodated our 25ft class c and at least 2 other rigs if needed. We saw 3 other rigs parked on other spots; a jeep, camper van, and truck. This location is an easy spot to get to with any type of rig and very close to the highway. We weren't able to here the noise from the highway from our spot. The only downside is the amount of bugs, but your camping right by the water so it's inevitable.

Stopped just for the night. Seems OK some local farm trucks use the main road. So watch for them. Don't stop at the first drive. There are more on around the park. Just make sure you can turn around because some of them are pretty tight.

Arrived Thursday 7/8. Free. Great spot to spend the night. Only one other camper at the reservoir. Clean pit bathrooms. Windy night so I didn't experience the mosquitos others reported.
