Right off hwy 40. Almost the whole town closes at 6. Park like setting. Sprinklers run all night. Mosquitoes and truck noise.

PROS: Mostly level. Free. Only about 13 miles off of I-70 in an area where there aren't many options.

This should be an over night spot. It is a gravel lot behind the park. I had an axel issue and called town hall and they said it was fine to stay up to 5 days. There is a train 50’ away.

Stopped and took a look see. Ok for an overnight stop on the way to elsewhere. Got four bars on T-Mobile. There was a sheriff when we stopped to walk our dog. I imagine the law spends a lot of time here because there’s not much else around.

Giant gravel/sand parking area. Easy in and out with any size rig. Google Maps took us right to it, but the turn was a little hard to see. Looked like some cars are parked there all the time. We were the only rv and pulled alongside the grass park area on the north east corner to put our slides out. Some dappled shade near the grass. Two semis parked with us sometime in the night. The parking area is long and wide bordered by the grass park on one side and the railroad tracks on the other. Although the signage indicated the RR tracks are still in use, we did not hear any trains while we were there. The road is somewhat busy w semis, but it was not enough to bother us. Two picnic tables, a trash can, and doggie cleanup bags are the amenities. There was a bar and grocery store across the street, but we did not go in either. I forgot to look at the signal bars, but we noticed no slow downs w our Verizon phones, and I had no problems with my video streaming teaching with ATT this morning. It was a good overnight stop.
