The pictures are not representative of the state of this park. When we first arrived it literally looked abandoned. We had to ask for the grass to be cut. It was 18” high. It was also infested with moths. Two weeks after we left we’re still getting them out of our rig. We’ve been full time 3 years and never had a mouse. We got one the first night we were there. There’s also sand spurs so big they punctured my ebike tires and our dog kept bloody paws. We spent close to $100 dealing with all these issues from the lack of maintenance. Some of the grass got cut but never the entire park. The road leaving was so muddy we had to use 4WD. We were stressed about getting our rig down the road the day we left because it had rained the night before. We did leave early and she refunded us the difference. We were supposed to be there a month and I wanted to leave the day we arrived. It’s a beautiful very isolated area but not worth the safety issues we had to deal with. Also even the grocery store in Burlington a half hour away is not that great. Stock up on any supplies if you go.

My husband and I were traveling through on our way to Cortez Co and needed a place for the night. After looking at the photos and the reviews we decided to give a try. First there was no real signage on the dirt road leading to the park and my husband GPS and my phone directions had us going opposite ways. We did find the park and I am not sure if something has happened to the people that own the park but the place is seriously run down. That being said the price was right for us and all we needed was a safe place for the night. There were only about 4 other RV’s here and the office clubhouse was closed. We didn’t any facilities but I think those were closed also. So if you just want a place for the night this place was okay.

Let’s start that they offer showers and clubhouse to hang out in and play pool and ping pong but in all reality if someone wants to rent the building for how ever long then you are not allowed to use the facility… our hot water heater went out on the travel over to this park and we was gonna be there for 3 months because of my wife’s travel nursing. And was told by chuck the owner that there was a community shower in the club house for everyone. Then him and his wife decided to rent out the clubhouse to friends of the family that was having a wedding and wouldn’t allow they other guest to use the facility and said that they don’t offer shower when the clubhouse is rented… then they need to put in a shower house outside the facility for the other guest to use…. And also they have this one guy that’s in his early 20’s that’s a hunting guide around here that’s friends with there son that trays the clubhouse like he owns it and will strip down to his underwear in the living room or where ever to go shower and just leave his pants and clothes just were ever they land… and chuck and his wife don’t say nothing to him because he is basically family… so would I stay here again that’s a no… specially when there are other places that’s half the price a month. Granted there in town but I would rather save the money

We have stayed here twice now. First time during the Covid shelter in place lockdown for 2.5 months. The owner is absolutely wonderful and we so thoroughly enjoyed our stay we came back for a month when temps in the high country started dropping and the forest fire smoke chased us out.
It is the eastern plains of Colorado so there is a lot of open flat lands and a fair share of windy days, but the small town off Stratton is about 5 mi. away and a very friendly atmosphere.
Some sites are not completely level and require a little work, but the owner is always doing upgrades and improvements.
Aerial Soul would stay here again
