Great campsite and would come back again. The unusually warm, clear and sunny weather in Mid October was a bonus too. I made a reservation which made my late night arrival easy. There is a reservation board at the checkin desk with campers who had not arrived yet. If you see your name you can drive to your site and then swing back in the morning to check in. Otherwise it looks like you have to use their checkin phone posted outside to call them up. Park ranger was very nice when I stopped by in the morning. Loops A, B, and C each have short trails to the beach. This is more of a scenic sandy beach. The wind is strong and so are the currents. You can hear the roar of the ocean throughout the campsite. The bathrooms were plenty and the free hot showers were well maintained. I like there was also a recycling station, dump station and water fill station at the park. There are plenty of simple to moderate hikes to enjoy while in the park. There is a store at the entrance of the park though I did not need to stop there. My paved spot was level and the greenery, shrubs, trees between spots was a little thin but adequate. Don’t expect great privacy.

Overall the park was great. It has lots of trees, nice trails, places to see, and a nice secluded beach that doesn't see very many people at all outside of Summer. Its a great place to relax, unplug, enjoy nature, and eachothers company.
The only downside we're seeing that is getting worse is the increased amount of pollution washing up on the shoreline. It was pretty bad.

Another nice state park. Sites are close to the beach, level and in a loop layout. Just enough tress to provide shade and sun throughout the day. Nice beach and trails. Awesome beach and view of lighthouse. No cell phone service/Wi-Fi to be had. Convenience store had a nice selection.

This park is in a lovely location with lots to do. If you are in a motorhome without a towed vehicle it is somewhat difficult to get around. No RVs are allowed at Beard's Hollow or the North Head Lighthouse and there is no RV parking at the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center. The park roads are somewhat narrow with no shoulder or bike lane. Large RVs travel the main roads (and often exceed the 25 mph speed limit). It is about a 3 mile bicycle ride from the campground to the Discovery Trail if you are willing to ride on the park roads. We ended up driving to Ilwaco and Long Beach and biking the Discovery Trail from there. The Long Beach portion of the trail is especially scenic. The trail from Ilwaco to the Beard's Hollow Overlook is quite hilly. There is no paved trail from Beard's Hollow to the Beard's Hollow Overlook so we rode on the park road for that portion. Other than the Discovery Trail (which includes a paved section out to the North Head Lighthouse), there are no other bike trails in the park. There is no Verizon service in campsites 1-180 (also no OTA television). We parked in the day use parking lot by the Confluence Artwork and were able to get Verizon service there.

We had to drive to the front gate to get cell service. Verizon had zero bars. The beach is fantastic, very wide and long. Two light houses close by with many historical sites to visit and a few hiking trails in the park. Although we didn’t use the restrooms they were very clean and modern. There is a small store at the front gate and firewood for sale. We hope to be able to return in the future

Great spot to disconnect and relax. Giant open beach where dogs can run. ( On the beach only. Must be leashed otherwise) Be aware of a strong undertow.
Check-in was simple, and we were offered a better spot than we reserved due to good weather allowing sites normally not reservable this time of year to be useable. State park website is great for making rez. Even has photos of most all individual sites. Note that our rate was based on off-season senior WA resident pass.
Super clean and well maintained park, and courteous and friendly staff, both paid and volunteer. We didn't need them, but we looked in one of the showers and found it to be very clean. Campground Hostess advises they are free. Not sure if that's true year round. The park was pretty full, in the FHU area anyway, but quiet day and night during our entire visit. No cell service in the beach campground, but good enough in the Confluence parking lot and at the boat launch.
Sites are well spaced and many reasonably private. All at least 50' long and plenty wide for slides on both sides. Level and paved, with table and fire ring. Easy access for the largest big rig with toad. Follow the signs to PARK OFFICE to check-in and access the campground. Do not turn into the North Lighthouse road. Yes, there are two lighthouses in the park. Either way works, but I'd recommend big rigs use the north route of the loop road for easier curves to and from the campground entrance. Reasonably priced fire wood for sale at Hostess site. Local wood use is requested to help prevent outside disease. Looking forward to returning.

Several photographers said November was much better. Most everyone was friendly. Private campground toilets and heated showers, thank goodness as the mornings were in the mid 30°’s. No cell service at the campground but excellent coverage at Waikiki Beach. The only irritating issue was my neighbor left their patio lights on all night. I guess they were afraid of the dark.

2 stars because of beach. The rest of the park is poorly maintained- trees with disease or dead branches, bathrooms dirty and smell like piss & rude staff. Apparently Washington state is now open but the staff thinks the park is in phase 1 of Covid.
