It's a parking spot with power ( 30 & 50) water and dump. Stay on the asphalt as the goat heads are very prevalent. Had to pull them out of my shoes and still got some inside that I stepped on. You can pull into the reservation area, or park in back and walk up to the reservations desk. Not convenient. If you are just passing thro... more

If you are just passing through It's a spot to stop.
Did not go into the casino or restaurant. The lobby was clean, but as a previous review mentioned the elevator in the gaming area is not working.
Forgot to mention the near by train, but I have come to the conclusion that every RV park is near a train.

Parking lot is not level at all but decent place to stop for the night and see the salt flats.

Staying in a parking lot isn't high on our desirability list, but after having some car problems up at Silver Island Mountains Dry Lake (BLM), the Shell Truck stop next door to the Nugget turned out to be a fine for the night. Staying in a parking lot isn't high on our desirability list, but after having some car problems up at Silver Island Mountains Dry Lake (BLM), the Shell Truck stop next door to the Nugget turned out to be a fine for the night. Only a few trucks in the lot and the lot itself is gigantic. The Wendover Nugget RV Park is right behind the lot if you'd rather have hookups.

Overall Rating
We stayed in the trucker parking lot adjacent to the Casino. Wide open parking lot, very little traffic on a Thursday night. There is a rv park too, but why pay to just park for the night? Plus I wandered into the casino, put $5 into a slot machine and walked out with $30.
