We arrived in the early evenings of a Saturday night and parked our Class C with tow vehicle on the outer perimeter of the parking lot. There was a decent amount of big rigs and some RVs in the lot and coming/going during the night. We arrived in the early evenings of a Saturday night and parked our Class C with tow vehicle on the outer perimeter of the parking lot. There was a decent amount of big rigs and some RVs in the lot and coming/going during the night. I will say no one bothered us but I didn’t feel comfortable leaving our rig (what pets inside) and going inside the casino’s to eat. Having to walk two dogs to relieve themselves we found the grassy area along the street sidewalks (next to MacDonalds) was the place to go (pet bags and stations were provided). We didn’t see them the night before and found the hills at the back of the parking lot full of a weed that pierced your shoe bottom and stuck in our dogs paws (painfully) - stay away from that area. I’ve never boon docked in a location like this before but I will tell you it wasn’t for me. I got very little sleep due to the big rigs running there engines all night; husband slept like the dead though. While this was just an overnight and free - I’ll gladly pay to get peace and a little more sense of comfort/security.

Overall Rating
After reading reviews we went to the west side of the lot and found a spot where we could level the RV. It is walking distance to restaurants and casinos. We drove to a local diner for supper which was minutes away.
Overall, a spot to rest after the day’s drive from Reno.

Overall Rating
I have parked in the lot on the west side of the Peppermill as well as the truck and RV parking lot directly across the street. Both are quiet overnight spots and easy in and out and freeway access. They both have some slope, but it's easy to level your rig. Lots of places for fuel and food nearby. This is a boondocking site.
