Spent one night on our way out west. Clean park, good site spacing and quiet. We would definitely like to stay in warmer weather to enjoy the area more, but no complaints this time around.

We had a reservation for a “special” spot, one of only two and when we arrived, lo and behold, no one to greet us and of course we didn’t have our site number because KIA doesn’t tell you until you arrive. Got them on the phone only to find out... Read more

There’s obviously a reason KOA doesn’t give you your site number ahead of time. I paid for a premium site only to be right up against the highway. As you can imagine, the highway never grew quiet. The sites are sandwiched in between the “dog”... Read more

We stayed two nights in this park in late October. Was by far the most quiet of the state parks for us by far. We were tucked down in a swale up against the woods. We loved it. Great weather on Saturday for a nice hike on the Shadbrush Trail.... Read more

We snagged a last minute reservation and lucked out with a very nice site with lots of room on either side. The area is beautiful and the lake full of lots of nice fish. The fall colors were so vibrant. The only negative, once again, not the fault... Read more
