We’ve stayed here several times over the last 15 years. It never disappoints. Great hiking, good fishing, and spectacular scenery. The 9 mile drive up is terrible, however. If you have an RV, plan on almost an hour to get up those 9 miles.

We don’t generally like state parks, preferring more rustic camping, but this place is great. Nice, shady sites not crammed together. Good hiking for the pups. Very nice bathrooms and shower (free) facilities.
