"Winter Camping!"

Beautiful RV park with an indoor pool, open year-round. Unfortunately, like most RV parks, many of the sites are jammed together. If possible, try to find a map to their sites online and then request a specific site when you book. Otherwise you... Read more

"State Park Heaven All Year!"

Yes, it's 15 mi off the freeway, but well worth the extra mileage! Wide open spaces, lots of hiking trails, sites with electricity and water despite the below freezing temperatures during the winter. Dump site open all winter too!

"Cute stop, no dump station."

Small, well laid out campground right on a small reservoir. Lovely spot just off of I-15, but back in a canyon. No dump site, and currently there is a bunch of construction going on right next door so not a great place to hang out for the... Read more

"Only Class A motorhomes allowed!"

They absolutely will not allow trailers of any nature, including fifth wheels. Only class A motorhomes are allowed in the park. Looks to be gorgeous wish they didn't have this silly rule. I didn't actually stay as I have a trailer, but thought I... Read more

"Easy access dump with rinse water."

Can be a little difficult to see the dump area, head towards the propane filling station. $15 paid inside at the cashier, they have a hose for rinse water. Not sure if it's suitable for drinking water.

"How could it possibly be better?"

Nice asphalt road from highway 21. Lots of shady spots are reservable, I did a first come on a Monday and was able to get a spot in the newer area where the pitches are super large but super exposed to the hot summer sun. Great for solar! ... Read more

"Packed on a Thursday early afternoon in mid-June"

Just drove through--could not stand the smell of the vault toiles (even from within my car!), the close-packed A Classes and Fifth Wheels (closer than an RV park) and the sound of all the generators (despite it only being 80 degrees outside.) I... Read more

"Tiny spots close together, easy to see why it is the last to fill up on a weekend."

Would not recommend bringing anything larger than a 21' trailer here; between the narrow, curvy campground road and the tiny pitches, it is a challenge to park and maneuver. This campground was the last to fill up in Lake Cascade State Park and... Read more

"A five star Plan B!"

After driving through three packed FCFS recreation areas on my way south on 95, refusing to be crammed next to massive rigs half of which were running their generators (on an 80° day), I decided it was time for my plan B. (By the way, this was a... Read more

"A gem!"

Lovely campground right along the river and near Sandpoint. I drove through many of the other campgrounds in the area and was not impressed--This one is by far the best in the area. Sites are large and well spaced. I did not use the... Read more
