“Closed In The Winter”

I have used their dump station in the past, however, they appear to be closed down for the winter 😌

June 5-7th 2023. We arrived without a reservation and snagged a cancelation site for 2 nights. Great campground conveniently located in town. Rode our bikes all over. Try and get a site back by the residential area as the main road is very busy with a lot of street noise, (especially semi trucks) zooming right through the middle of town. Clean restroom and combo bath house. Very helpful and friendly camp hosts. Close to the little creek right over the pedestrian bridge. Lots of big Ponderosa Pines.

Lovely campground with water and electricity only. Dumps available on way out. Fire pits, picnic tables and clean bathrooms. Dishwashing area available I am assuming for tent campers. Walkable distance to cute town of Sisters where there are numerous shops and restaurants. Great bicycling around the area. Campground is confusing with no markings for directions to drive so we had great difficulty finding our camp site number. # 46 was very nice but a little close to the highway. Very little traffic noise at night though. Password protected internet that worked well for most of our stay.

Like another reviewer, I also chose site 17, it was a full hookup even though I didn't need anything, the non-hookup sites were TINY and on top of each other.
Expensive for dirt and gravel but easy walk to cute town.
Decent Verizon for the area. Didn't use the restrooms.

The small town center of Sisters in within walking distance and offers a lot of variety of good restaurants and stores. Lot's of hiking trails in the surrounding area. Very dog friendly!

This would be a great place to stop for the night but I would not consider it a destination. For one thing, Sisters is a cool town with lots of interesting shops and restaurants but it is quite expensive. Second was the road noise at the campground. Highway 20 is the main drag and very busy with cars and semi trailer traffic. Our spot #47 was on the highway side of the park and less than 50 yards from the highway. Things got quiet at night but this is not the kind of camping we like to do.
I had a nice dinner at Rancho Viejo in town. ($60 for 2)
