Staff was very nice, very friendly very efficient no issues there but man these spaces are tight specially if you’ve got a 40 foot motorhome.

Arrived shortly after 6pm for an overnight stay. No gate code was provided in the online checkin materials and the office did not answer the call to open the gate. A line of honking cars quickly built up behind us, trapping us at the unfolding gate. Stressful! The gate did not open fully, forcing a swerve to the right that would have made me quite nervous with a larger rv.
Online checkin assigned us to a pleasant spot at the east fence, but on arrival we were reassigned to a very small site next to the office parking space and the laundry area. Lots of traffic there. The site was too short to keep our small TT and TV connected (38’ combined), was not level, and had all hookups on the camp side. Electric was 50a only. Staff hoped we had an adapter. Loud music blared from common or residential areas until midnight.
Staff was friendly but seemed overwhelmed with their workload. Facilities appeared tired but clean, but we didn’t use them. The sites were all quite narrow with little privacy.
There are not a lot of options for camping close to Fort Lauderdale proper. This one could have been worse, but certainly wasn’t what I think of for a holiday.

Why on earth would they put a 40 ft RV in a tight corner lot with no place to park your tow vehicle!!! I'm totally disgusted with the appearance of this place. CHRISTMAS EVE no less. Serious letdown & disappointed.

However, it is nice and I would stay here again. Park is 75% mobile home and 25% RV. Everyone was nice. Everyone keeps their site clean regardless if they are temporary or permanent. Stayed here with my 2 kids and husband and we enjoyed it. Full hookups with 30 & 50 amp at each site. Option to purchase internet service through local provider.

Pool is small, but gets the job done.
We have a 40' toy hauler, needless to say we couldn't open the back patio.
Note: you can only have one car here, so make sure you consider that before booking. Also, not easy to have guests here as there is no parking.
Close to FL beaches. We recommend North Hollywood Beach Park at the end of Sheridan St. Huge parking lot for $10 a day. Easy for my DRW Chevy to park.

Terrible setup folks! Old park with very skinny sites. Rigs over 30 feet should stay away. Hookups are on the wrong side so you have to drag your power cord, water hose and sewer hose (what?) under your RV to connect. Stayed in site 306 for 1 night and we didn't even open our slide outs. Park is located in a rough area of town and there are lots of sketchy looking residents. Bathrooms were dirty and there was no hand soap. The only good thing was an employee named Harrison. He took us to our site and was very nice. Other than that our stay was a complete disaster. Definitely won't be back.

As other reviews note, don't expect an outdoors experience in the campground. However, it does have a small scale wildlife reserve next door where one can walk by the lake, look at plant life and see a lot of different birds. The park does have convenient access to whatever one needs, and it only takes a 15-minute or so drive to the beach in Ft. Lauderdale straight down Oakland Park Blvd. While I found the staff overall accommodating, we had some issues with check-in that led to us circling the park several times. This mainly came from bad parking from other guests as well as some glitches with the reservation system. I heard most of the rest rooms/shower houses were in disrepair, but we had no need to use them. The pool seemed nice though rather small. Use 27th St to exit so you can have a traffic light/left turn. Very convenient access to I-95 and not-too-terrible traffic wise except at rush hours.

We received a free Thousand Trails membership when we purchased our RV si we’ve been occasionally sampling some of the parks here in Florida where we live. We booked 4 days here but will only stay 2 at the most.
When we arrived and attempted to go to our assigned site, there were three cop cars blocking it. Apparently there was an incident with a resident. This did not feel comforting.
Management was very accommodating and assigned us a different site immediately. That was a plus.
But all the RV sites leave a lot to be desired. This place is mostly permanent or semi-permanent residents. The RV section is just a small portion. The sites are very close together. There are concrete patios but very little grass. No picnic tables. No dog walking area that I could find.
There are the usual amenities, pool, laundry, clubhouse, etc, if that’s what you need. Lots of in and out vehicle traffic though there is a gate. Just rather busy/noisy in my opinion.
WiFi is good and reasonably priced. Maybe good for a stop over of if you are planning some days in the city or at the beach but not the getaway we hoped for.

There is a gate that you will need to get a card to and a code for the pedestrian gate. If you are not comfortable with the urban feel of a campground, then this one would not be for you. Check-in was a not straight forward, fortunately an off duty employee saw us at the gate trying to figure it out. The sites are insanely close, typically southern metro Florida and urban RVing. Generally, the park is in good order. Cable television is not included but is available from Comcast. Water, electric and sewer included. The concrete pad at our site was at the back for a travel trailer, not much help for our motorhome.

Office hours are sporadic. If you are not coming during regular office hours M-F then you should call ahead for instructions on how to access the gate at the entry. The RV section is on your left once you clear the gate, don't take an immediate left but travel about 500 feet and then turn left at the "< office" sign.
noted 11/28/2019
The entry to the park is between a big white office building (on the left, or East) and an auto parts store (on the right, or West) and it is not well marked. (See photos uploaded) If you are approaching from the East, there is a turn in across the median but it seems too early and it is not. If you are coming from the West you will have to deal with a tight turn in on the curb.
