Pleasant, well used park. If you have issues with trains, just to let you know there is some here, along with the typical vibrations that come with them. We don’t have issues with this type of thing. Slight road and airplane noise that was only noticeable to me when I woke up in the middle of the night, but not bad. I only mention this because nobody else did and some folks take issue with that type of noise. We enjoyed staying at this lush beautiful park along with those iguanas. Very nice experience.

Camp Host Chris immediately and voluntarily came to our site to lend his knowledge on backing a 28ft trailer into site A16. Very helpful and friendly !
Nice privacy from neighboring sites due to heavy vegetation
Site A16 level
Site A16 partial shade
Metal fire ring
Moveable metal and wooden picnic table
Campground WIFI
Security gate closed 6pm and assessable with code that was provided at check-in
Easy day trip to Everglades from this Park

CONS
No senior or veteran discount
Train, plane and traffic (lots of sirens) noise was nonstop and very loud
Campsite crammed together
A16 has two large trees on each side of the 12 foot wide campsite entrance
Bring you A GAME as this campground road is very tight with lots of turns
All utilities hookups are at the rear of site A16
Not the best part of town

This park has a lot going for it: spacious, responsive staff, and mostly private spots. Not far from lots of things to do in Oakland Park and Ft. Lauderdale. I'd recommend Jaco Pastorius Park and Funky Buddha Brewery, just a couple miles straight down Park Land Road.

We had a view of the park and little lake that really opened up our site. it was very nice. I was a little creeped out about all the iguanas and lizards but am from Minnesota so not used to reptiles running around. They were harmless so not a deal breaker. They do have some pull-throughs. Our price was for peak. Totaled $50.85 with Tax and $1.00 fee.

By far, this is the best in the area compared to the RV parks around Fort Lauderdale. Quiet except for the train which only passes throughout the day. Wifi works above average. Verizon is average. Starlink does not work due to shaded sites/trees.

In the Fort Lauderdale area, it's not a mecca of great campgrounds. However, Easterlin Park is a nice spot and is convenient to I-95 and Fort Lauderdale. The spaces in the campground are nicely landscaped to give you privacy between you and your neighbors. The road to the campground is tight, but some of the spaces are wide. You must check in prior to 5:30pm and no late night check-ins are allowed. There is a gate (they provide a code at check-in). The neighborhood outside of the park are not the best, but the park feels safe. It is a nice park with some small ponds, ducks, and a frisbee golf course. For this area, this is a nice place to spend a night or a week. We will return. No wifi, but 60 channels OTA and great data and connectivity.
This park is next to train tracks and I-95, so there is some noise. not loud, but there is noise.

We spent three nights visiting family. We are a full time RV couple. The spot was a little tight getting in, but great once settled. The park is in the Middle of an urban area, gate is locked at night. I would stay here again.

We wouldn’t have known this place existed if we didn’t search Campendium, but it worked out. Sites are nestled amongst trees and it’s gated and safe. Outside the gates, not a great area. Bathrooms were closed due to covid. There’s a commuter train that is noisy during the week, but it stops around 10pm.

This small county park is well maintained. Bathrooms and shower houses are rough, but you have full hook ups and shady sites. Popular with snowbirds, the park is usually fully reserved January through March. The campground is adjacent to a railroad track servicing AMTRAK and a commuter train (TRI-RAIL), which runs once per hour in each direction until 10:00 pm. We’ve stayed here on several extended stays (2006-2016) before we moved to the area full time. Close to Fort Lauderdale and beaches.
