The road is narrow and all the vehicles are park in other side of the RV. The staff insisted us to park in our spot even though it’s impossible to fit our RV. That was horrible experience, the staff is so bossy helping us to park. Our RV. His making a sign signal to follow him that we don’t understand. After an hour trying to fit in the site they gave up and called the office to change our site. Took us an hour as well just to park because the road is small and everyone vehicles is on the way. Our site is in front of the busy road of oakland, it was very noisy. My husband asthma attack that cause me to bring him in the hospital after those 2 hrs trying to park. Only good thing is the hospital is 8 mins drive. Very expensive for day rate not worth the stay.

Dump station saved us! We rented an RV and needed to empty before we returned. Very nice & helpful. Plus there’s propane fill up down the street. The place looks like it’s a mix of full-timers & vacationers.

Our site backed up to the Walgreens drive thru. The loud music from the customers going thru the drive thru actually caused our trailer to vibrate.
Frankly, we did not feel safe at this location.
We didn't use any of the facilities.
We stayed there Feb 13, 2022

Most Fulltimer sites are nice BUT our rental site was the WORST we have EVER seen. -So bad that we left early the next day and forfeited our 2nd night pmt.
The park is 50 yrs old. Our disgusting and toxic site had original crumbling asphalt with asphalt chunks strewn around, small and medium sized trash everywhere- from batteries and paper clips to the neighbor’s myriad of discarded plastic items. Neighboring sites had leaves and debris from multiple seasons still around their sites. The picnic table was gross, seemingly as old as the park and caked with black mold.
The amenities of the park are worthless if you are too grossed out to step outside. Truly horrible.
To those that leave 4* reviews because they find the office staff nice do a disservice to this review system.

There are a lot of full-timers here but I don't see that as a bad thing nessecarialy. Many have made their lots very pretty! (Some not so much) Sites are cement pads, some have picnic tables.
Laundry room is clean with card-only operated machines. 6 washers & 8 dryers & a folding table.
The pool area is nice as well, currently restrictions are in place - 10 people at a time for an hour at a time & Have to sign up for a time slot.
Dog friendly! They accept larger dogs than most south FL parks, but do have some breeds they don't allow.
There is a fair bit of City noise, but you'd expect that if you are going to camp in... The city. Lol the trade off is that you are close to EVERYTHING including the beaches & downtown area. A 15-20 min drive depending on traffic.
Safety: as a single woman I feel safe walking my dog around in the park but I don't walk around much outside the gates.
MissPaige would stay here again
