Overall Rating
Just outside Jefferson in the Pike National Forest. Nice gravel road. Easy access for 2wd. No problem with the 30’ travel trailer. Verizon 4G LTE works great. May have some cows visiting.

This place has been overtaken by careless shooters. Shots going off all hours of the day, and into the night. Some shots were way to close for comfort @ 11pm. It is really a shame that sportsmen get a bad rap from the carelessness of a few. Also lots of spent shell casings and target fragments left everywhere. I will be taking t... more

There are actually a good amount of camping sites here. There are a lot as you follow Rock Creek and enter the forest service roads. Sites are spread out enough, and large enough to support multiple RVs. Make sure you get a forest service road map so you can go deeper into the forest.

Easy to get to, lots of big spots for multiple units even though we were solo. Easy to get to, lots of big spots for multiple units even though we were solo. Roads were decent and were able to generate 100.5 AH off on a 100 watt panel on the roof and 1 100 watt Renogy portable unit on the ground in 1 day!
