Don’t count on having WiFi. They limit usage but rarely was strong enough to use and we were very near the office. Sites are very close together. No At&T cell service

Nice park, friendly staff. Only complaint is we reserved 2 RV’s as we were traveling with family. We were told they could not put us together. 3 empty sites between us for the entire stay. Kinda irritating!

Friendly park with nice bathrooms and showers. If you go from the months of June-September there is a very nice group of older folks who stay throughout that whole time. Only con is no cell service. We would stay again!

We planned to grab 2 nights at this park applying our Passport America discount (no reservation, cash only, etc for $20-30 a night) after a few weeks of dry camping. Overall, it is a very normal commercial park - there is a usual amount of room and privacy (not a ton), our site was fairly level (within the bounds of a couple blocks), and the park felt clean and well cared for. The staff is polite, the utilities worked well, and the pedestal/water/sewer were easy to reach. We did not use laundry, bathroom, or shower, which I believe is still coin operated for hot water. This park is fine, but it is over-priced at $60 a night and nothing special at $30. Also worth noting is that we were in a back-in site, which should be (?) less expensive than one of their pull-throughs, and it was still $30 a night. Our site was also unique in that it didn't back up to other another RVs, which as another reviewer mentioned, most of the sites do, and this likely made our stay quieter and more private.
There are 2 frustrating issues: Check-in/applying our PA discount and cell phone/internet/Wifi connectivity.
We were camped within a short distance of this park, so I drove over without our RV and walked into to see if they could accommodate us for 2 nights. I was initially asked to pay $130 and when I asked if that was right, she replied 'Oops' and asked for $108. I again clarified, and she said 'We are new owners and not really a Passport America park.' Unwilling to pay $54 a night for 2 nights but also not wanting to scrap our FHU plans all together, I agreed to $54 for one night. We returned a couple hours later with our RV to check-in/camp, and at that time she said 'For $6 more, we could stay 2 nights' - $60 total, $30 a night, and within the range of the PA discount. She didn't provide any explanation, apology, or otherwise.
We had zero T-Mobile coverage here and were dependent on their Wifi, which is limited to '300MB per device per day.' In our experience, you are permitted up to 2 devices x 300MB per day, which resets at about 11am. Two people burned through 600MB quickly by simply checking email, news, weather, and etc (no streaming or significant downloads), so we were without connectivity before dinner. The Wifi was also painful to use while it was available, relatively slow and required re-log ins every 30 minutes or so.
Update: As of 7/19, Passport America has removed this park from their affiliates list (if you aren't a member, I highly recommend joining). This park is so over-priced for little privacy and essentially no Wifi, and we aren't like to stay here again or recommend it.

Regular price is 60$ per night. With Passport America it was suppose to be 20-22$ but they charge me 30$ and that didn’t not include hot water. Extra 2$ for th shower!! No thanks for me at that price. Very poor wifi and no Verizon coverage

It would have been nice to know that when we checked in because we went out hiking that day and got back late looking to clean up, to find out we had to pay for a hot shower. Not having any change on us nor any way to make change that late we were stuck taking very fast freezing cold showers. Not fun at all. Also absolutely NO ATT cell service nor wifi.

About 10 miles outside of town, is Gunnison Lake RV Park and Cabins. It’s conveniently location just across the street from the Blue Mesa reservoir. It’s located on a somewhat steep slope that is easy to navigate, but because of the layout of the park, doesn’t give many trailers a view of the reservoir. Sites are gravel but are pretty level. Ours only required one block to get perfectly level. As an older park, it has the wonderful advantage of having lots of mature trees, in this case very pretty Aspens that line the road and separate the sites. Aspens make such a lovely sound in even the slightest of breeze.
Less attractive is the doubling up of rigs into single driveways. We had a large diesel rig warm up his engine to depart and because he was backed up within about 2 feet of the rear of our trailer, he was able to force us out of the Airstream to get some fresh air, light headed and smelling of fumes. Thankfully, most people here seem to come to stay for a while so this only happened once to us.
As on-the-road internet workers, the internet here really was our big issue. There is no real cell phone signal here, just an occasional roaming 1x signal for Verizon. With the booster, we could make phone calls but that was about it. The park does provide Wifi with antennas scattered through out the park to provide a strong signal throughout the park. The speed seems to be throttled to about a 1Mbps speed which is perfectly adequate for us to work. However, they have some pretty severe data caps that come into play that will make it difficult for any road work warriors. They seem to throttle you down to 250kbps after about 300-400 MB in a single day. Don’t forget to turn off your Apple photos upload and attempt to upload more than 1GB, they will cut off your connection entirely. However, the office staff was extremely nice and helpful and turned us back on after that little incident. That said, we ended up going into Gunnison to the public library or one of the coffee shops in town to get our work done on several days. If you just need email and light web browsing, this park will be great, but if you need to put in an 8 hour day, this may not be the place for you.
We never used the laundry or shower facilities, but both seemed clean and accessible.
