Overall Rating

This site is on the south end of the La Sal Loop Road. This road has a steep incline and a 15mph turn prior to this site. There is no posted length limit or grade on this road. It is paved without a center line. There are no guardrails.

If you are able to brave the beginning of La Sal Loop Road to reach this site you will be rewarded with expansive views of the Moab valley and La Sal Mountain range. This site begins the winter snow line.

The first site down FR4829 is made private from the loop road through some short trees. It is a large, flat area with room to turn a large rig. There are 3 fire rings on the edges. The first site would be perfect for a rig using solar or Starlink.

Further down the road there are three more sites. The last being a turn around and one a pull through. Note that the road does become more rugged as you drive back.

We received voice only cell coverage in this area.
