We got here when it was dark, but we trusted the reviews. It wasn’t bad. We were alone which we like… quiet.
The only downside is the campsite is right under powerlines which freaked us out because there was lightning.
Other than that, semi good views, flat areas for tents and a stone fire pit.

“Tucked in the trees, perfect for smaller rigs”

This site is on the south end of the La Sal Loop Road. This road has a steep incline and a 15mph turn prior to this site. There is no posted length limit or grade on this road. It is paved without a center line. There are no guardrails.
If you are able to brave the beginning of La Sal Loop Road to reach this site you will be rewarded with expansive views of the Moab valley and La Sal Mountain range. This site may receive snow in the winter.
Although it is on a sharp bend in the road, the site itself can be very private. The initial entrance is on a slope that should be taken with care, but is doable for most rigs. This road front area can be used as a turn around, as once you pass it the trees are closer. One could set a rig in this area but it is less level than the back part of the site.
If you continue into the trees on the one lane track you will enter a private campsite complete with fire ring. I suggest you back into the site to allow for ease of exit. The area is shaded and does have some flat areas.
We had no cellular coverage in this area.
