Beautiful very large park with a huge 2600 acre fishing lake. Loads of waterfowl and wildlife. Park has many open spots, so it basically has something for everyone. Has bathrooms, showers, laundry and marina. Staff is very friendly. Had decent Verizon cell service. Most sites look level. All have fire pits. Most have electricity and a water source. You can find this park if you google Linn County Park and La Cygne Lake. Check in via kiosk at the marina. This is a first come first serve park, so no reservations. However there are plenty of camp site. Has a good dump station if you just want to get off the highway and dump or spend one night. There are no restraunts or grocery stores around. There is a Casey's gas station/convience store and a Farm Supply store for Propane in nearby La Cygne. We had a great time at this park and it will be a regular place for us to escape KC too.

Didn’t visit. Washers and dryer okay 2$ a load. Surprised by how big the campground is. Lots is sites. Over 20 miles of trails and sitting by the lake. Our site was fairly level. We had full hookups which there area a lot of. Most have water and electricity. There is a nice dump station on site. Easy pay with self kiosk in front of marina. Fee for extra car.

Just off Hwy 69 about 50 south of Overland Park, KS. Clean and well maintained. We stayed in Site 34, pull thru with electric and water. Every time we’ve stayed here, we have encountered friendly staff. The county works are always helpful.

We were 1st time campers; it was a beautiful park, clean facilities, quiet location, we even had a pair of deer run past our camp site. If we get back this direction we won’t hesitate to stay again. 5⭐️

Great campground, first come first serve with mostly electric+water or dry camping sites available. There's a row of long termers along the road that leads to the marina.
Dump station is $3.
Payment is rendered at a digital pay station, can pay with cash or card.
Good amount of boater traffic and spots filled faster for the weekend. Decent fishing, and a good size bathhouse near our Main Loop site 50.
It had rained a lot so muddy around the playground, some of the area had poor drainage, but no mosquitoes to speak of.
Not a lot of "activities" in the area per se, but we camp to enjoy the outdoors and cook outside.
Would definitely camp here again. Really calm and enjoyable time, pretty views, and lots of places to drop the old fishing line.
