“Not As Advertised ”

Very disappointed in this RV park. 24hrs prior to our stay, I received an email informing us that there are no shower or bathroom facilities on the property. This is not mentioned anywhere on their web site. That information would have been nice to know when I booked the spot months prior. The immediate view is that of a disheveled, poorly cared for RV park. Many of the buildings are in disrepair. The lot is immediately off the highway with virtually no security and the associated highway noise. We arrived at 3:00 in the afternoon. What we think was the office was closed with a message board giving us our slot number. Another trailer was in that spot. There is no phone service there so we tried to use the Wi-Fi calling as recommended. We were unable to get a hold of anyone by phone, but ultimately found a nice lady on the cottage side who looked into it and then told us we were in another spot. This one was open. We never did meet or receive any information from a “camp host”. There are absolutely no amenities or ability to buy any essentials here. There are far better places to stay in the area.

This RV Park is older so it will never get a “10” rating, but the site was level and spacious, the hookups worked fine, and the owner, Charlene was caring and helpful. The real delight was the 27 elk just in front of our RV for two days. Quite a show and very enjoyable. We would definitely go back!
Site fee included Sky-link that gave us excellent phone, internet, and access to our tv.
