Mississippi is obviously not a welcome state for travelers and has policies in place to discourage traveling.

This welcome center has a lot of pull outs but the only one I could find that worked for water was the second to the last on the right side. Don’t waste your time and checking all the others like I did. I spent a lot of time at these three places trying to find water for my RV, . But I’m happy I did and I dumped and filled for free and all 😊

Plenty of grass for doggie paws to run around in, but beware that there are plenty of poo piles for them to step in too. Please, pick up your poop! All water is shut off to the RV pullout parking area, spigots and drinking fountains.
Update: There is a "walkway" that is part sidewalk/part grass that goes from the middle of the RV parking area to the truck parking area and to the welcome center building. The entry to this walkway is at one of the pullouts, and it is wheelchair accessible. HOWEVER, when I got to the other end of the walkway, I was met with curb all the way down both sides; there was no way down to get to the building. I had to go through the rough ground/grass, and then take the road to the building without getting run over (no shoulder.) Unfortunately, it was dark by the time I got out. Take the road ALL the way around and possibly hit by a car or truck, or try the grass/walkway option. I thought the latter might be safer; I got stuck in a hole in the grass that I couldn't see. No one could see me, so I couldn't get any help. I had to crawl out of the wheelchair and push it out of the hole, which blew out my back (spinal cord injury.) I did make it back to the motorhome. I told the security guard (in an unmarked car, haphazard uniform, and flip-flops!) what had happened, and that I would leave the next morning; she said she would let them (in the office) know. I was harassed by them non-stop until I left. I should file a claim against them for injury and harassment; horrible employees that need some serious retraining. There were some tractor trailers that stayed there at least as long as I did.

Signs say No Overnight but it’s fine. So many semis park here. They park on off ramps and shoulder of 607. Nice bathrooms and electric plugs for tea kettle. Bath rowers cleaners several times overnight.

We stayed here both coming and going to Florida. I was hoping the reviews were true but was prepared for a last minute scramble if not. This place is clearly set up for overnight campers with pull through spots, picnic tables, and spigots. There is even a dump station off to the side. About the time it gets dark the truck lots fills up with 18 wheelers. The first night we stayed we took the last rv spot since we arrived about an hour after dark. The other spots were a mix of campers and 18 wheelers that would not fit in the full truck lot. My advice is to arrive about dark if you want to guarantee a spot. Also, I would recommend bringing bug spray if you have an animal to walk as the mosquitoes were pretty bad.

I was gonna stop in LA, but you can’t sleep in your car there. I’ve been driving all day, so I’m really tired. I saw this in campendium and was super excited. But then when I pulled up, it has signs everywhere that say no overnight parking. Which puzzled me. So I went back to campendium and looked at the reviews. They said there was an rv spot on the way out they could park at. But I’m in a car, not an rv. So I went up to the security building to ask them if I’d be able to sleep in the rv area. And the gentlemen told me that I can actually sleep in my car here right in front of the bathrooms even though it says no overnight parking. Such relief! They said they just don’t want people living here, but people traveling through can sleep overnight. Phew!
Ps, the women’s restroom was pretty gross, but I like that they have security guards here. I can rest with no worries! Goodnight! 💗
