It’s a big park so there are lots of sites to pick from. I avoided being near the water since people complained about traffic. It wasn’t busy when I was here but that would be a solution if you came at a more popular time. This place was nicer than most state parks and many private parks.

We stayed here one night traveling through the area. Price reflects tax added. We had a f/h site which was level enough that we stayed hooked up. In walking the cg, we were choosing other sites we would like to stay in the next time through. Well-kept Park, clean sites, easy in and out. We had Verizon services.

We have a WeBoost and still not enough of a connection to have meetings. It is a very busy campground, especially on the weekends. Sites are fairly close together. Being by the river is nice and only minutes away from Bay St. Louis, Gulfport, and Biloxi. Make sure you know where your site is before you get here; no maps are given out and the numbers are confusing.

Sites are level and full concrete pad with picnic area. Be aware though this is mostly a fishing camp. Most people are here because of the fishing. I am not a fisherperson. This also means they stay up late and drink alcohol to all hours with music playing and them riding their "done up" golf carts all over.
There is construction going on in the park adding a bunch more river sites.
The airport has training fighter jets screaming overhead quite often well into the night. Also seems to be a training site for C 130s. Training means for hours on end the go round and round doing touch and go's.
Per a search of the airport after I arrived:
"For the 12-month period ending January 31, 2019, the airport had 63,600 aircraft operations, an average of 174 per day"
Lucky for me my rv is generally good at filtering out noise and I sleep well.
ATT and Verizon worked well. ATT was 7 mb down and 3 mb up.
There was a pack of vultures picking through the sites every morning. Goes to how clean people live here and a shame as there is white sand through most of the space between sites.

The campground is pretty good, price is right and good location.
But the place is noisy...lots of campers driving around in golf carts and side-by-sides playing loud music. It’s like they are “cruising the campground”. Crazy.

We loved it, only drawback is there is a local airport with instructional pilots but we enjoyed watching them (they stopped by 10 pm)

Really big well maintained county park..lots of sites but good distance between them. Many river front sites. I stayed in one...Great. The park was virtually empty when I stayed (12/20/18 thru 12/26/18...but I was told it fills up during camping season. Would definitely stay there again.
