Staff was fairly friendly. Check in was easy and quick. Bathrooms and showers was fair, nothing to brag about. Pool area was nice and several areas with picnic tables and benches to view the lake.
Our site was just ok, had to reserve least expensive to maximize our stay to visit family. Sites are very close. Our site was in an area of seasonal/long term sites. People in those areas were just rude and very unfriendly. First words I heard from the lady beside us as I was unhooking was “When are you leaving?”. Very weird bunch of folks around us. Cell service and WiFi was poor at best. I’d recommend for maybe a quick 1 night stay but anything over that I’d look around.

I liked the park for the views. We were in #36 where the view is partially blocked by trees. If you want to feel like you’re sitting over the lake, try for sites around 17 through 28. My two cons would be
1) the sites are close together. There’s so much beauty around us with the lake and trees, I can get past that but wouldn’t stay here for a long time.
2) There are 125 sites in this park and only one laundry facility with 2 working washing machines. Third one was out of order when we were here. It works off of quarters which is fine if the coin machine weren’t out of order so good luck with that one. Office can provide quarters if they’re open which they weren’t. I wouldn’t be doing laundry at 10 pm but when you’re down to two machines, that’s when they became available. My opinion is this could put a little money into the laundry facility and replace all the machines and dryers.

We stayed here because we wanted to spend the weekend in Nashville and couldn't find anything else, but going in we knew it wasn't going to be our cup of tea. And we were right. The sites are incredibly close together and it felt very crowded. If it had been cheaper we might not have minded, but this was the most expensive place we've stayed in 7 months of full timing. The pool was freezing and while the staff was nice and friendly but the general mood of the rest of the guests was very grumpy. If you like private RV parks and need full hookups it's probably going to be what you're looking for, but like I said, it's not our style.

The pool opened April 29, and no it's not heated, but it's nice for some short laps or to cool off. We also enjoy swimming in the lakes off the rocky area by the picnic tables. Wifi is strong enough for non-video work activities and we were able to download some shows as well. We love the location on the lake, proximity to downtown, restaurants and nature (greenway trail, Long Hunter State park, kayaking). This is the second time we've stayed here, first time was under the Safe Harbor name and prior ownership.

No hot tub, no heated pool, in fact it was not even open yet. When I emailed the manager to ask about the pool details before my arrival, he never bothered to respond. I feel that he should have as I was spending over $1,400 in his campground. Oh well, they had their money; what do they really care?
For the price that we paid, I would have expected our campsite to be cleaned. It wasn't. I picked up plastic garbage left in our site, as well as more plastic and metal that was tossed into the fire-pit. Really? And only $101 a night; lol.
Ladies in the office were friendly and helpful, no issues at all!
Standard free wifi was fine for everything we needed. I even downloaded a few shows after 10 pm when there was less pressure on the system, no issues!
All utilities worked as expected, so all good here as well.
Great site views, easy access to Nashville and only a few miles to a pretty decent grocery store, all good!
