Overall Rating

We stayed early July on the last site on this road. Mosquitos and flying beetles everywhere, but beautiful. We experienced a brown bear and four moose off in the distance early in the morning.

Only complaint was some kids that stopped by the next closest site on the last night who decided it would be great to dump a truck load of pallets and step bars in the woods. I wish I'd have noticed their license plate number to report them.

Other than that, an excellent place to camp.

Overall Rating

The sites sit along a small creek and are very level for the area. We were able to use our solar setup and Starlink during our visit. The main road can be busy, but this side spur does not get much traffic.

There are about 2 sites along the length of the spur, with the first one being a pull through loop in the trees. The second site can be difficult for reach as the road tilts severely to one side. We did not want to risk it with our 5th wheel.

It is a very nice area to camp in, but the mosquitoes are a bit much. We didn't see any moose but heard they are in the area. Occasionally you can hear I-40 but it is not loud.

I had 1 bar of Verizon 4G and 2 bars of AT&T 4G but coverage was spotty.
